.......... to send the gift box today; by hook or by crook.  In other words 'by any means necessary,' no matter what.  The whole process of problem solving, buying, wrapping and now sending has taken some time from woe to go. Now the basket of wrapped gifts are waiting by the door ready to go.

Gift organising always starts with  the thinking of a suitable fun gift to buy.  Especially since it has to travel overseas to Canada, absolutely nothing breakable or too enormous.

It was handy that baby boy number 2 has entered the world because it made my creative gift buying a little easer.  Everlasting durable Australian Bond suits were sent for the first little gorgeous boy so this time round a very different gift was called for.  A fun gift!  After some thought searching and looking around I decided that it had to be the 'flappy elephant.' It is a soft toy that not only sings a song called "Do your ears hang low" but also flaps his ears over his eyes at the same time.  It is the cutest entertaining soft toy that babies and toddlers love.   It is a winner that will be easy for overseas postage too.  Even the parents will laugh and enjoy I am sure.  

Just to make it worthwhile extra little presents were added for the parents and the older brother.  I know that it is a lot of fun not only to receive a parcel in the mail but also to do the unwrapping.   And as usual I got carried away, one gift for baby has turned into a gift for each member of the little family.   

I get a buzz from gift buying. it is the best feeling to give to others.
