Today's a Pretty 'Good' Day for Me... How about You...???

Mostly, things are good here, because nothing really bad has happened :>)

No Nukes have fallen from out of the sky for instance...as far as I know...??? Maybe some did hit the ground, but they were duds? Perhaps, they weren't duds and I was blown to bits; just haven't realized I'm dead yet?

There is so much which is possible that, we often fail to consider, overlook or simply don't believe 'is' nor 'can' be true...

https://images.hive.blog/DQmT6fpireX54Kx4E6qy1ScWoi9vBysbnERYnas5JTWGhCA/image.png

Me? I've moved over to that category of people who believe 'anything' is possible. YES...ANYTHING!

Now, don't get all flustered and jumpy, causing you to lash out at me with a flurry of insanity laced words, simply because you believe otherwise...

Calm down my fine fickle friends... It's not as if I don't feel 'you' deserve your own (incorrect) opinion on such a matter; you most certainly are entitled to be wrong :>)

Sometimes I'm wrong about stuff, but usually I'm right; even if what I know sinks me into a state of utter despair, rather than serving to aid me in a positive manner.

I'm looking to change that though and getting a bit better at it in my old age.

Don't ask me how I'm managing to change in that way, because I'm not quite sure. Maybe it's mostly from accepting the thought? After all, it has been said many different ways, by many different people, "Change your thoughts - Change your life.

https://images.hive.blog/DQmSKd6QTbLtgu2jFu24t71jqx8rgETxhav9btKyXX4kLmq/image.png

That self-improvement Guru 'Wayne Dyer' even entitled a book with those words. He's dead though, so don't go trying to reach him and ask what the hell he meant by those words. Unless of course you're adept at summoning up spirits of the dearly departed...???

Maybe it would be easier to just read the guys book? Here's a link below to help you find it:

https://www.amazon.com/Change-Your-Thoughts-Living-Wisdom/dp/140191750X

Another dead guy, named 'Norman Vincent Peale' spoke and wrote about the same topic/subject. Here's a a quote by him:

“Change your thoughts and you change your world.” ~ Norman Vincent Peale

https://images.hive.blog/DQmTo5XRiuF41skANfetB9XVx7gdZpHBJjVcFkPj8gdeBS4/image.png

Peale was an Author and probably most renowned for his Best Seller 'The Power of Positive Thinking'

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about him:

Norman Vincent Peale (May 31, 1898 – December 24, 1993) was an American minister and author known for his work in popularizing the concept of positive thinking, especially through his best-selling book The Power of Positive Thinking. He served as the pastor of Marble Collegiate Church, New York, from 1932 until 1984, leading a Reformed Church in America congregation. Peale was a personal friend of President Richard Nixon. Donald Trump attended Peale's church while growing up, as well as marrying his first wife Ivana there. Peale's ideas and techniques were controversial, and he received frequent criticism both from church figures and from the psychiatric profession.

Amazon.com has Norman Vincent Peale's books for sale, if you're interested in reading one of them. He'll probably smile down upon you from above, if he spots you perusing one of his works; especially if you 'paid' for it, instead of 'stealing' it... Don't forget... ole Norman was Pastor of a Church and probably would breath 'Fire and Brimstone' upon you if he spotted your thieving ways...!!!

Anyway...

Since this wasn't intended to be a post about 'Positive Thinking' or expanding your consciousness so that you might have a more fulfilling life on the planet, I'll end it here. This way you can make up your 'own' mind about changing your thoughts or not.

https://images.hive.blog/DQmSArZGpszcCPAn42W667D8kBdYdiATKw5aQhYwwQ9s6Jv/image.png

Oh...I almost forgot... Another wise 'old' dead guy named 'Mahatma Gandhi' liked to speak and write about changing the way you perceive things in your day to day living... Check 'him' out too, online by keying his name within your favorite Browser. You might 'get' happy that you 'did'...

I'll see you around some other time. Till then... Stay well, or 'GET' that way...

Ciao
