# As My Stake Grows, So Do My Curation Rewards

My biggest ambition on Hive is to one day earn enough curation rewards to build a sort of passive income, helping me grow my HP significantly and consistently—making post publishing a secondary activity, reserved only for moments when I genuinely feel like writing something.

That’s why I often visit my profile page on [hivestats.io](https://hivestats.io/@arc7icwolf) to check my stats and see how much I’ve earned in the past thirty days from both post publishing and curation.

And today, I couldn’t help but notice how curation rewards are finally getting close to reaching a new milestone: 100 HP in rewards generated in just 30 days.

I’m really close—just need to increase by 0.20 HP per day and I’ll make it.

## <center>Effective HP and Delegated HP</center>

One of the most important things I’ve done over the past few months to steadily increase my curation rewards was to **drastically** reduce the number of HP I delegate, thereby increasing my effective voting power more and more.

Less than 15% of my HP is delegated, and the rest—over 14,000—is managed directly by me, also thanks to the help of some **curation trails** I’ve activated on [hive.vote](https://hive.vote/) to ensure my voting power never reaches 100%, so it never goes to waste.

Managing almost all my HP also allows me to give more generous upvotes to authors I appreciate or to those I interact with, even through comments.

Due to the low value of HIVE—*it’s incredible to think we’re back around 20 cents...*—the dollar equivalent of my upvote isn’t very high:

Less than 14 cents.

And yet it would be even lower if I delegated more HP to other accounts.

Also, **generating** 14 cents with every 100% upvote I give is still something impressive, if you stop and think about it.

After all, it’s just a **simple like**—how long does it take? A few seconds at most?

On what other social media platform could I generate 14 cents just by pressing a button?

I can’t think of any, and for this very reason, I care deeply about setting ever more ambitious growth goals for myself on Hive:

* 20,000 HP
* 2,500 liquid HIVE
* 100 HP per month in curation rewards

These are the ones I’m currently chasing and getting closer to every day.

All of them will take months of work and consistency, but they will all be achieved—some sooner, some later.

And the only thing I hope is that one day the value of HIVE will bring us some real satisfaction, rewarding those who have believed and still believe in this chain, and attracting new users so they too can discover how fun and rewarding it can be to get rewarded for their online activity.

# Come il Mio Investimento Cresce, Così Aumentano le Mie Ricompense da Curation

La mia più grande ambizione su Hive è quella, un giorno, di riuscire a ricevere così tante curation rewards da costruire una sorta di rendita passiva, che mi aiuti ad aumentare i miei HP in maniera importante e costante, rendendo la pubblicazione di post un'attività secondaria e relegata solamente a quei momenti in cui sento davvero di voler scrivere qualcosa.

Per questo spesso mi reco nella pagina del mio profilo disponibile su [hivestats.io](https://hivestats.io/@arc7icwolf) per controllare le mie statistiche e vedere quanto ho guadagnato nei precedenti trenta giorni sia dalla pubblicazione dei post che dall'attività di curation.

E oggi non ho potuto fare a meno di notare come le curation rewards si stiano finalmente avvicinando al raggiungimento di un nuovo traguardo: 100 HP di ricompense generate in soli 30 giorni.

Sono davvero vicino, mi basta un incremento di 0.20 HP al giorno e ce l'avrò fatta.

## <center>HP effettivi ed HP delegati</center>

Tra le cose più importanti che nel corso di questi mesi ho fatto per accrescere sempre più le mie ricompense da curation c'è l'aver ridotto **drasticamente** il numero di HP che delego, aumentando così il mio potere di voto effettivo sempre più.

Meno del 15% dei miei HP sono delegati, ed i restanti - oltre 14.000 - sono gestiti personalmente da me, anche grazie all'aiuto di alcune **curation trails** che ho attivato su [hive.vote](https://hive.vote/) per assicurarmi di non far arrivare mai il mio potere di voto al 100%, così da non farlo mai andare sprecato.

Gestire quasi tutti i miei HP mi consente anche di distribuire upvote più generosi agli autori che apprezzo o a coloro con cui interagisco, anche tramite commenti.

A causa del basso valore di HIVE - *incredibile pensare che siamo di nuovo intorno ai 20 centesimi...* - il controvalore in dollari del mio upvote non è molto alto:

Meno di 14 centesimi.

Eppure sarebbe ancora più basso se delegassi più HP ad altri account.

Inoltre **generare** 14 centesimi con ogni upvote al 100% che do è pur sempre qualcosa di impressionante, se ci si ferma un attimo a riflettere.

Alla fine si tratta di un **semplice like**, che richiede quanto? Qualche secondo del nostro tempo al massimo?

Su quale altro social potrei generare 14 centesimi soltanto premendo un tasto?

Non me ne viene in mente nessuno e, proprio per questo, ci tengo particolarmente a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Hive sempre più ambiziosi:

- 20.000 HP
- 2.500 HIVE liquidi
- 100 HP al mese in curation rewards

Questi sono quelli che sto inseguendo in questo momento ed a cui mi sto avvicinando sempre più.

Tutti mi richiederanno mesi di lavoro e costanza, ma tutti saranno raggiunti, chi prima e chi dopo.

E l'unica cosa che mi auguro è di vedere un giorno il valore di HIVE darci qualche bella soddisfazione, premiando coloro che hanno creduto e credono in questa chain e attirando nuovi utenti così da far loro scoprire quanto divertente ed appagante possa essere venire ricompensanti per la propria attività online.
