Slowly Slowly Catchy a Larger dCity
I have been getting back into Splinterlands lately and I came across dCity. I'm into Player Manager with stats and data so this game suits me. It is also the kind of game where you can come and go and just spend a few minutes per day on it which suits my lifestyle as well. So my city is getting larger. It started off a little pea size but now I'm more of a tumour. I think at the start I was just figuring out things but after reading a few posts I am getting the hang of it. So every payout I buy some Dec and transfer a couple of Hive into Sim. dCity give you back Hive rewards when you hold an average of 8000 Sims over 30 days so this is a nice little perk. Plus 10000 Sims isn't all that much in dCity land these days.It might not be that much Hive but again, look after your pennys...

So initially I spent my time just trying to balance things out. If I purchased a Nuclear Power Plant I needed workers for it or that card would be inactive. So now I use the Simulation before I purchase something in order to have more of an idea what happens in my city after I make that purchase. It has averted me from a few disasters.
Also in order to start getting extra cards you need to have a certain amount of stats in certain areas. For example you need 80 creativity and an art gallery to start having a chance producing background cards that you can sell. So I am only now learning about this side of things. It's a game where you have to give it time to learn the certain formulas. Just tip away at it.
I started off minting cards which cost 4 Hive a pop or 800 Sims but now I just buy cards off the market and whichever cards that fit into my city. Also I still have to figure out what I want from my city. Do I want Sim? Do I want Hive? Do I want to sell cards. Do I want to earn the other second layer tokens that are available in dCity such as Beer and Weed. I think this game is underrated.

Players will talk about the tax on your Sim so when the price of Sim hits the floor , your tax goes up which means you earn less or no Sim. I am quite happy at the moment just growing as @cryptoandcoffee always says.
Dcity is now my side hustle after i get sick of Splinterlands. This game hasn't exploded yet but who knows what could happen. I always get the urge to go back to it to see how my city is advancing. I could see games like this where you can leave and go back to excelling in the future.
At the moment I purchased a research facility and now I need to hire 16 people so it becomes active and gives me a chance to start minting cards so I have to go back into the simulator now and check to see what the most inexpensive way of doing it. It is worth a little look. Throw in a few Hive and start you city. You will be amazed how much you would buy with a small amount of Sim.
Once thing I didn't know is when you unlock a technology, you still do not own that technology so I went off and purchased any cards that I unlocked today. They did not cost all that much but another little thing learned. I think this game is all about reading a couple of posts from experienced campaigners and just putting their advice into action.
