*Today is the second of the year 2023, the race have started but remember you are not in a competition with anyone but your humble self.. The goal is to achieve more things, unlock more goals, become a better version of who you are in 2022....*

*To be honest, i didn't celebrate the new year eve, i did not go to church  which is not really a surprise because i have been like that for many years and i only visit the church during cross over night only on rare occasions, this is because i feel somehow with the ecstasy  feeling by people because most people are always over joyous on such a day, it makes me unable to control my mood so i prefer staying indoor than going out to witness all that.*..

*My girlfriend spent the day with me and she left around that 10 p.m for cross over night, while i slept off and  woke up around that 12:36 a.m to wish family and friends happy new year and again drifted in to dream land lol.....*

*The first day in the year 2023 went well, i mean i  achieved some personal goals and i was happy too, it all started with a meal of indomie and egg which i bought from my neighbor that is into the business of selling such food, but i guess i was just impatient or should i say hunger woke me up because not long after, food started rolling in from different angles...*

*My neighbor who visited her family not far from our place sent her child to bring food for me, having a neighbor that thinks about your well being and gives you food is a blessing eh, even the one i bought indomie from also gave me food later in the evening, so the food was surplus that i could not even finish all....*

*Hey! don't think too much, i am not  a glutton and my post is not just about food*😂

*I powered up 600 hive to start the new year on  a good note and i also did well in the splinterlands gold tournament, i was getting mad at myself for losing my first two battles out of 11 and i was already feeling all hope was lost but things changed and i won almost all the other battles except 1 which makes it 8 win and 3 loss and that qualifies me for the second round, i can only hope i do better in the next round...*

*Towards the night, we had a game in the city of neoxian, ``depressedfuckup`` was the game master and he organized it well, it was fun and it lasted for 2 hours, can't wait to play his next game in the server....*

*Lastly, i brought out my journal as i intend to keep records of everything i do this year, the last time i was serious with my diary was 2018, and just going through what i wrote down back then always put a smile on my face, it reminds me of both good and bad, sweet and ugly memories, i also wrote down some things i wanted to achieve that year and looking back now, out of the 10 things i wrote down, i was not able to achieve 2 as the third one is half way done.... I hope i can achieve them all this year or atleast take one more down out of it....*

*So i dusted my diary and wrote down how i spent my day and that was it for the first day of the year 2023... i hope for good things to happen today and you all better be nice to me especially if you want me to write  something good about you in my journal*😂
