<div class="text-justify"> My ears perked up when I heard one of my students talking *“Naa may nindot nga view sa ubos dai, nya naay daku na puti na abandon na balay.”* which means **“There is a beautiful view downhill and a large white abandoned house!”** Ting! Seems my feet have ears on their own, it started to feel itchy and wants to walk upon hearing about the view and the abandoned house. Curiosity filled me in. Hehe. So I looked outside, the day was lovely, and No class since it was our Sports day. **What a right time to have this interesting walk plus a little Urbex on the side**!  My not-so-sports-enthusiast students were the most excited when I asked them to have a walk to the destination that they were talking about, **the beautiful view and the abandoned white house.** In this way, we could all engage ourselves in the simplest sport which is walking at the same time seeing the beauty of the place that they are referring to. And also, I’m having menstrual cramps so it’s good to have this light walking for my body to release the good hormones I need this time. (wink!) I could feel that they were controlling their excitement about this walk as we exited the gate, (if only they knew I was more excited than them!) Jecel, my student who is familiar with the place, took the lead and acted like our tour guide.  I was surprised by the lovely landscape that greeted our eyes. The grasslands and hills are very refreshing to look at. We passed a tree which according to Jecel, a tree where the Grade 7 students climbed when they eat their lunch. Haha. Ah Yes! It’s common in the countryside, students climbed on the trees, find their best position to have access to the best view, and then eat their food. I laughed as I remembered my high school days. <center><sub>Cafeteria Tree.lol. </sub></center> As we continued strolling we passed some animals pastured on the grasslands and a sight of a farm. After more than five minutes of walking, I noticed that we were getting down and we were nearing the abandoned house.  <center><sub>Jecel leading the way.</sub></center> From the rough road, we are now walking on a cemented path full of fallen dried leaves. Everything was so green as the sides are full of plants and trees. It felt like we were entering an orchard. Good thing there were no gates for us to climb. I didn't see any trespassing signs, in fact, the whole place is very open.  Going to somewhere paradise.   And just one turn, we already arrived at our destination, the abandoned white house.   A mix of amazement and wonder crept through my whole body as we moved closer to the house. The house is beautiful, yes. Its size is huge for a countryside house, and its design and architecture are unique compared to the houses in our provinces. I wonder why the owner abandoned this house.  Amazingly, the house is built of stone and wood! A rest house "by someone rich" vibe. And it looks like a two-story house on the outside. There were broken windows and the roof of the veranda is dilapidated.   As we get nearer, I noticed that all the windows and doors are made of white framed glass. There are still lamps installed but I guess they don’t work anymore.   When we entered, my eyes were directly fixed on the high ceiling. There was still a chandelier above. I as roamed around the house, I could see nothing but a wall covered with wood and glasses. Mhmm, the interior of the house I love.  The house is not that wide but it is so spacious, the kitchen part and the restrooms were already damaged. What was left was the empty living room left with some things like the television, the wooden sofa set, some unique wooden cabinets, and what seems like a bar counter with a wheel design at the center. <div class="pull-left">  </div> <div class="pull-right">  </div> <div class="pull-left">  </div> <div class="pull-right">  </div> I also saw some stones being adorned on the wall. Based on the interior one could tell that this house is owned by a rich family more so the whole land that surrounds this house since I didn't see any locals living in the place.   And look at my ladies smiling happily while sitting on that expensive wooden sofa.  While roaming around the house I was imagining its warmth and vibrance way back when it was still occupied. I think mornings here are great while the young rays of the sun perched through the windows, listening to the chirping of the birds with some coffee in hand. But now it's empty, abandoned for how my years. <div class="pull-left">  </div> <div class="pull-right">  </div> Maybe if I came here alone, I would felt its creepiness, but thanks to my girls who were with me for this walk making some loud noises and laughters. The walk had become lighter and livelier. Now it's time to hike up back to school!  I enjoyed my walk today, my curiosity about how the abandoned house looks like was answered. I was also refreshed by the views and most importantly I felt that my cramps subsided a little. <div class="pull-left">  </div> <div class="pull-right">  </div> Back to school.
