It's 20th December and in another 10 days, 2022 will be over and we will be seeing the start of 2023. If I look back on 2022, which is a mixed year for all of us, mostly in the crypto world. This year has shown us that taking out profit is very much needed and thus with the bull run there is a bear which we are facing now.

Along with the bear market, we have seen so much bad news which has been there like the FTX and LUNA crash and other things which are like putting oil in the fire. This news actually made people get away with crypto. And thus whoever has booked the profit in the bull run is actually waiting for the bear market to get over to get a new position in their favourite coins.

So yeah it is very much needed to take out a profit even if you want to hold your crypto for a long. I am not saying that we should sell everything, but yeah we should surely book some profit so that when we are in situations like these can buy more crypto for the future. There are uncertainties for sure and thus once these get over we might see a bigger and better bull run.

Doing your own research is important and thus you might have seen people telling that we should not sell our crypto and other things, partly they are correct but again it's ok to sell part of the portfolio to book the profit because no one can predict the future. We can see Hive going to 10c too, that is again a possibility that we cannot deny.

Now we are seeing that it is very much important to take the profit wherever there is a bull run so that when we are in a bear market we can get more crypto. Also, the thing is whoever is living on crypto can survive this bear market if they have taken the profit on the bull run.
