Hello Hivers!

Happy musical Tuesday from my side of the world.

This is my participation in the #ttt or #threetunetuesday initiative of @ablaze. Today I'm in a bit of a rock mood. But to give a little twist, I'm going to share with you some rock in Spanish.

If we talk about rock in Spanish, the first and most classic reference is none other than Soda Stereo, the Argentinean rock band that was so popular in the 80s and 90s.

Soda Stereo is not only my favorite Spanish rock band of all time, but their songs are the trigger for a lot of memories from my youth.

And it's hard to choose only three songs by Soda Stereo, and even more so if we consider the prolific career of their vocalist Gustavo Cerati after the band split up, that I'm not going to consider on this occasion. Maybe another time. 

But let's go with my choice of the three songs for this Tuesday.


#### Tune No.1 De Música Ligera - Soda Stereo

The first tune is none other than De Música Ligera, a single from Soda Stereo's album Canción Animal. 

For many, it is the most emblematic rock in Spanish song of all time. And with which the rock band said goodbye to the public after their 1997 break-up in [the last concert (El Ultimo Concierto) at the River Plate stadium in Buenos Aires](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OX-us7PEfkc).

This concert closed the band's farewell tour in 1997 in different Latin American capitals, including Caracas. I attended this farewell concert at the Parking spaces of the Poliedro the Caracas, and I remember it very well.

#### Tune No.2 Persiana Americana - Soda Stereo

The following is one of my favorites of the group, Persiana Americana. 

The lyrics talk about a voyeurist who watches a woman undress for him while looking at her through a blind.

The song is from the 1986 album Signos.

#### Tune No.3 En la Ciudad de la Furia - Soda Stereo

The third Soda Stereo song I recommend this Tuesday is En la Ciudad de La Furia. Another classic from the band. It was included in the 1988 album Doble Vida. 

A bit dark lyrics. And with the powerful phrase, 'Me verás volver'. It was used by the band ten years after their split in 2007 to promote a tour where the members got together again to play their songs live.

Of course, the short tour started in the very City of Fury, Buenos Aires.
