Hey everyone, how incredible does this Spinach look? Apparently the birds tend to agree too, sadly! I have been growing Spinach for around 8 months now and prior to that never did I think birds would actually be an  issue with my Spinach, but alas they love it.

Luckily for me there is more than enough to go around for the birds, bugs and us.

The soil in our area is more like building sand than proper soil to grow vegetables, so we need to put in lots of compost as well as my 'World Famous Urine Fertilizer' this stuff really works a dream do check out my last posts on this miracle fertilizer!

Below we do not have Spinach but Chard, also very tasty a close 'relative' of Spinach, great to cook with as well as in Salads!

I am around 6.3 tall so have rather large hands, this gives you an idea as to how big these spinach leaves are, sadly however that bird damage I mentioned above can clearly be seen here!

Here we have in the same vegetable patch a bunch of cocktail tomatoes, these taste more like sweet Cherries, to be honest probably where they get the name 'Cherry Tomato' from?
