I have always liked sports and on several occasions I have shared my progress here, without a doubt, what I liked the most, it allowed me to open many doors and to travel was jiujitsu, where it was the best decision I made for that year and start practicing this martial art. As the years went by my experience and knowledge about the sport was growing, also several schools nationwide were practicing and therefore decided to make competitions, therefore for the year 2018 we had to travel to Caracas and thus be able to represent the school of Maturin in that event, so it is a good time to remember a little of that experience and trip I made.
 
 
>Siempre me han gustado los deportes y en varias oportunidades les he compartido mi progreso por aquí, sin duda, lo que más me gustó, es que me permitió abrir muchas puertas y poder viajar fue el jiujitsu, donde fue la mejor decisión que tome para ese año y comenzar a practicar dicha arte marcial. A medida que fueron pasando los años mi experiencia y conocimiento sobre dicho deporte fue creciendo, además varias escuelas a nivel nacional fueron practicando y por eso decidieron hacer competencias, por ende para el año 2018 nos tocó viajar para Caracas y de esa manera poder representar a la escuela  de Maturín en dicho evento, por eso es un buen momento de recordar un poco de esa experiencia y viaje que hice.

For that year I was already a green belt, which to get to that belt I had to take several exams and thus to obtain it, so as one changes belt, the responsibilities with the school are very large. So for that competition I had to face young people of the same belt for the first time and it was a challenge, because you do not know the level of the opponent and what techniques they have learned, however, I was very confident of all the work I had done before the competition, preparation and the words of my coach.
 
 
 
>Para ese año ya era cinturón verde, el cual para llegar a ese cinturón me tocó presentar varios exámenes y de esa manera poder obtenerlo, por eso, a medida que uno va cambiando de cinturón, las responsabilidades con la escuela son muy grandes. Así que para esa competencia me toco enfrentarme con jóvenes del mismo cinturón como primera vez y fue todo un desafío, ya que uno no sabe el nivel del oponente y qué técnicas han aprendido ellos, sin embargo, yo estaba muy seguro de todo el trabajo que había hecho antes la competencia, preparación y las palabras de mi entrenador.

I managed to do an excellent job in that competition, leaving every drop of sweat in that tatami and the best to enjoy all that competition, as it was a national event, many schools, young people of different ages and that excitement of being able to take that medal home, and that's what happened after making several bouts and win that final. In addition, that trip allowed me to know a little Caracas, especially the hotel where we stayed and for that opportunity, as I was also accompanied by an uncle, my cousin, my brother and a big part of the academy team, where it was a moment of great happiness and to have completed my goal in that competition.
 
 
>Logre hacer un excelente trabajo en dicha competición, dejando cada gota de sudor en dicho tatami y lo mejor disfrutar de todo esa competencia, ya que era un evento nacional, muchas escuelas, jóvenes de distintas edades y aquella emoción de poder llevarme esa medalla para la casa, y eso fue lo que ocurrió luego de hacer varios combates y ganar ese final. Además, ese viaje me permitió conocer un poco caracas, especialmente el hotel donde nos quedamos y para esa oportunidad, como también fui acompañado de un tío, mi primo, mi hermano y grande parte del equipo de la academia, donde fue un momento de mucha felicidad y haber completado mi objetivo en dicha competición.
