In this blog, I would like to share about the Hive Orientation that was conducted Last November 8, 2023. This idea was initiated by @callmesmile about her Master's thesis dissertation. This activity was carefully planned by @callmesmile and I'm happy that it was realized just last week and some of them were now in Hive. This activity brings our learners a new opportunity to learn and explore the world of new trends while developing their writing skills and at the same time communicating with various people around the World. **Before the Orientation** Before the orientation, @nayhampz told me about the scheduled Hive orientation for our Grade 12 learners. So, I told her that it was a piece of good news and that I would share a small amount intended for our food for us to share during our lunch. It was our usual act that if there were Hive Blogging Orientation to be conducted here in our place, we would be sharing and supporting each other. **Venue of the Orientation** The orientation took place at Ilihan Integrated School. Our school offers kindergarten to K-12 learners with 51 personnel including teaching and non-teaching. I started working in this school when I was promoted from Teacher 3 to Master Teacher 1 that was year 2014. I am a living testament to how my co-teachers and learners experienced the struggle of a school having no classrooms and school facilities. I've witnessed how other people criticized and looked down on our learners. Right now, I am proud and happy that some of our graduates have passed the licensure examination and are already successful in their own lives.    **Who Conducted the Orientation** This activity wouldn't be possible if not for these two kind, friendly, and brilliant resource speakers; @indayclara and @ybanezkim26. These equally important figures in Hive, are our strengths and motivators. They are the reason why we are still here on this platform despite being busy with our work and as a mother. Without their constant guidance, support, and encouragement, we would not have reached this far on Hive. They kept on inspiring us and made us feel that we were not alone in this journey. Likewise, they made us realize that were not only friends here but were family too. This family of ours grows day by day as we explore and meet different people around the world through Hive.  **On the Day of the Orientation** During the orientation, the grade 12 learners showed that they were all eager to learn about Hive Ecosystem and Hive Blogging. They listened attentively when @indayclara and sr @ybanezkim26 discussed clearly and logically about Hive. After the orientation was the photo opportunity. It was successfully done. We're thankful to these two vibrant speakers for spending their time and sharing their knowledge and skills generously with our learners.   After the orientation, we took our lunch at the cookery. While eating we had our time together to share ideas about our Coming Christmas Party. We were all excited about our party for this is our time to meet all Hive Friends here in Northern Cebu and the City as well as any part of our country who are willing to attend. **Message to our Learners**  To all of you our dear learners, this will be your life-changing opportunity. You are all lucky that at your early age, you are now on this platform. Please take care of this and learn to be grateful to all the people behind your journey. Continue what you have started and don't stop without any reason. However, do not forget about your studies which are the main purpose of your sacrifices in life.
