Hello everyone, guess y’all had a good day today? Today is a reality check day, everyone is running a different race, stop trying to catch up with people who are running theirs on motorbikes while you’re on foot. I was scrolling through TikTok and I stumbled on a post where a TikTok influencer was arrested for shoplifting in a store. An influencer young folks look up to and some even compare their lives to hers. I believe the internet has great advantages but we neglect the dark side of it too.

Honestly, I just feel people should stop comparing their lives with other people, if you’re still sitting behind your phone and Comparing your life with that of another, you still have a lot of learning to do because I don’t know how you’ll comfortably measure your life with that of someone you don’t even know personally. Just so you know, even siblings don’t have the same luck in life. it is so crazy that some people use the Internet to set standards themselves, they believe everything they see online and they are built on other people's lies

I’m not saying everyone on social media is like this person who was caught shoplifting which is a fake life. Yes, some people actually have their lives together, live comfortably, happy in real life, some people are not even struggling and they can afford everything they own not every influencer is stealing from the store. The main issue here is that you can’t even tell who is who on social media and as he woman or man in your prime you don’t need to compare your journey with another person.

Some people begin their race with an advantage. They might have had access to more opportunities and resources, while you may have started later in life or encountered more challenges. It's essential to recognize these differences and refrain from comparing your journey to that of others. Everyone moves at their speed, some might sprint, while others take a more leisurely stroll. That's perfectly fine.

Focus on your own progress, celebrate your small wins, and avoid comparisons. The truth is, when we embrace our unique pace, we free ourselves from the trap of comparison, and that is incredibly liberating. Remember, your race is uniquely yours. Don't measure yourself against others. This is the best way we can protect our peace.

Thanks for your time.
