<div class="text-justify">  Hola queridos amigos artesanos de @jewerly, espero se encuentren muy bien, hoy vengo a mostrarles una linda pieza en Delica Miyuki, en homenaje al Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. Para muchos venezolanos y para otras personas de otros países, El Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, representa la fe y la esperanza de los enfermos, es conocido como el Médico de los Pobres, debido a su dedicación a la atención de quienes más lo necesitaban. Nació el 26 de octubre de 1864 en Isnotú, estado Trujillo. Su vida estuvo marcada por su deseo de servir, combinando su conocimiento médico con una profunda espiritualidad. Su canonización fue anunciada para el 19 de octubre de este año, convirtiéndose en el primer santo venezolano, un reconocimiento largamente esperado por millones de devotos. Su santidad reafirma su impacto en la sociedad venezolana, donde sigue siendo un símbolo de esperanza y devoción. > Hello dear artisan friends at @jewerly, I hope you are all doing well. Today I am here to show you a beautiful piece made with Delica Miyuki beads, in tribute to Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. > > For many Venezuelans and people from other countries, Dr. José Gregorio Hernández represents faith and hope for the sick. He is known as the Doctor of the Poor because of his dedication to caring for those who needed it most. He was born on October 26, 1864, in Isnotú, Trujillo state. > > His life was marked by his desire to serve, combining his medical knowledge with a deep spirituality. His canonization was announced for October 19 of this year, making him the first Venezuelan saint, a recognition long awaited by millions of devotees. His sainthood reaffirms his impact on Venezuelan society, where he remains a symbol of hope and devotion. Por esto, decidí hacer un colgante o dije de esta figura emblemática de mi país, ¿Cómo lo hice? Aquí les cuento: Utilice Delica Miyuki, hilo para Miyuki y aguja big eye... y por supuesto realice el patrón en la aplicación BeadTool4. > For this reason, I decided to make a pendant or charm of this emblematic figure of my country. How did I do it? Here's how: > > I used Miyuki Delica beads, Miyuki thread, and a big eye needle... and of course, I made the pattern in the BeadTool4 app.  ## Pasos para crearlo: 1. Coloco en la aguja 19 delicas como muestro en la imagen, luego esas delicas las voy uniendo una al lado de la otra, dejo pasar la primera Delica, y paso la aguja por la segunda Delica de atrás hacia adelante, como muestro en la imagen, así repito el procedimiento hasta completar todas. > ## Steps to create it: > > 1. I place 19 Delicas on the needle as shown in the image, then I join them side by side, skip the first Delica, and pass the needle through the second Delica from back to front, as shown in the image. I repeat the procedure until I have completed them all. | ----|----- | 2. Iniciamos a tejer la próxima hilera, ubicamos la aguja en la segunda Delica negra, y comenzaremos desde ahí, colocamos dos delicas en nuestro hilo, llevamos al final, pasamos la aguja entre los hilos del medio de las delicas de la hilera de abajo, y luego pasamos la aguja de abajo hacia arriba por la segunda Delica y fijamos, queda como muestro en la imagen, ahora coloco una Delica, siempre guiándome con por el patrón, y termino esa hilera. > 2. We start weaving the next row, placing the needle in the second black Delica, and we start from there, placing two Delicas on our thread, taking them to the end, passing the needle between the threads in the middle of the Delicas in the row below, and then passing the needle from bottom to top through the second Delica and securing it, It will look like the image. Now I place a Delica, always following the pattern, and finish that row. | ----|---- 3. Para construir mi tercera hilera, aplicamos un aumento, colocamos dos delicas blancas, y repetimos el procedimiento anterior (paso 2) y va quedando así, ya nuestra figura va tomando su formita. > 3. To build my third row, we apply an increase, place two white Delicas, and repeat the previous procedure (step 2). It will look like this, and our figure is starting to take shape.  4. Iniciamos la nueva hilera por la parte negra que sería el sombrerito, en este caso haremos decrementos, por lo que nos devolvemos a la segunda Delica como les muestro en la imagen y luego volvemos a subir por esa misma Delica, tomamos dos delicas negras y repetimos el paso 2 nuevamente. > 4. We start the new row with the black part, which will be the little hat. In this case, we will decrease, so we go back to the second Delica bead, as shown in the image, and then go back up through that same Delica bead. We take two black Delica beads and repeat step 2 again. || ----|------|------ 5. En esta parte termino lo que es la parte del rostro de la figura, haciendo decrementos, luego de terminar el rostro, me regreso entre las delicas, para continuar con la parte de la camisa o bata blanca y salgo por la Delica negra como les muestro en la imagen, y continuo con el tejido hasta terminar esta parte. > 5. In this part, I finish the face of the figure, making decreases. After finishing the face, I go back between the Delicas to continue with the white shirt or robe and come out through the black Delica, as shown in the image, and continue weaving until this part is finished. | -----|----- | 6. Nos devolvemos entre las delicas nuevamente para hacer la otra parte de la figura, como les muestro y seguimos el tejido repitiendo todos los pasos anteriores. > 6. We go back to the Delicas again to make the other part of the figure, as shown, and continue weaving, repeating all the previous steps. | ----|---- Y así queda nuestra figura del Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. > And this is how our figure of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández looks.
