 I didn't pay much attention to the HBD in the first days of the chain, as the main token has been wild in volatility terms, but as time passes, we need to fix the stability & reliability side of things (IMO). The HBD price has been wild for multiple reasons (in fact I'm not even conscious of the impact of the multiple variables like the Hive DAO, the HBD in exchanges, the extreme volatility of the last days...) This makes our 'stablecoin' everything but stable. And it's a bit of a pity, as the idea is not bad at all. I wonder if we could fix the HBD with a mechanism similar to MakerDAO & DAI, because the spread is very generous (~10% as I'm writing those lines). #### My grain of sand  > [source](https://pixabay.com/es/photos/arena-playa-pie-la-huella-de-mar-2543424/) This is unnaceptable, for that reason I'm going to use all my HBD rewards to make a litlle 'buy wall'. It will have the following possible results (multiple ones possible): - If the price drops faster to hit my walls I'll be getting a few extra drops of HIVE - If the price keeps itself stable the wall will keep compounding, - If (finally) more individuals join me we'll be reducing the spread little by little (best case scenario). This will help our overall economy and in a little extent our rewards (as we'll be purchasing a bit cheaper HIVE in exchange of patience). I'm not any expert in the matter. And at some extent I think it could be better to remove the HBD from the system completely (with correct planification and in several HF's of course). What do you think regarding this matter (I'm giving upvotes to the best contributions). I still have a lot to learn regarding the HBD tokenomics. It's a tough pill to swallow.  Thanks for reading!
