Yes, the bitcoin hard fork parade continues. This time it is the **[Bitcoin Diamond](http://www.btcd.io/index.html)** to claim the stage and start a new chain from main bitcoin blockchain block #495866 onwards. This will happen around November 25<sup>th</sup> 2017.

# What Does Bitcoin Diamond Promise To Do?

In short and from my point of view, Bitcoin Diamond with ticker BCD, will be a cross between Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash, all off the original Bitcoin history.

Yes, this is another airdrop if you want to take it this way. All who hold any amount of Bitcoin (BTC) at the block #495866  will get BCD. In fact, they will get 10 times BCD.
