- 3D Printing
- Augmented Reality Glasses
- Autonomous Cars
- Hyperloop Train
- Robots and Artificial Intelligence

I am not diminishing these five categories. 

I do miss the sixth possible answer:

# Blockchain enabled services and solutions

I don't know if Joey was more oriented towards hardware side of up and coming technologies or perhaps he just didn't want to go into hype mode.

I do believe that 2018 will finally bring us useful cases of *real life* blockchain technology application.

I am not talking about cryptocurrencies. I am talking about utility in your actual daily chores and situations. It is a high time, after all.
