Dentro de las actividades que me apasionan está el deporte y defender lo que hacen las mujeres es fundamental, aunque sigo la mayoría de ellos.

Por tal razón, he decidido que mi primera publicación sea sobre la Copa Mundial de Fútbol Femenino que este domingo llega a su final y que, según la prensa especializada, jugadoras, técnicos y especialistas ha tenido una altísima calidad deportiva y organizacional.

He seguido esta competición y he podido ver la mayoría de los partidos, pues, el estar jubilada me da la libertad de hacerlo. Dentro de las selecciones que he visto varias me han llamado la atención, pero sólo dos de ellas están entre las cuatro grandes. 

De una parte, está Suecia y de la otra Australia que es una de las sedes del mundial. Sin embargo, tanto España como Inglaterra tienen las armas suficientes para arribar a la final y coronarse como las reinas universales del deporte.

**¿Cuáles son mis selecciones favoritas?**

Es cierto que en mi comentario anterior dejo ver que mis simpatías son para Suecia y Australia. De hecho, esa sería la final que quisiera ver luego de todo lo que he podido ver hasta aquí.

**Suecia vs España**. Esta será un encuentro interesante, en el que se enfrentarán dos estilos de juegos que convergen, pero difieren en estilos y maneras de hacer porque, a pesar de ser dos países del continente europeo las españolas tiene un sabor latino en su juego que contagia y enamora. Juegan más al toque, la picardía individual y un juego más rápido. Por su parte, Suecia es un equipo más cauto, con un excelente trabajo defensivo, que sabe esperar su momento y hacerle daño al rival.

Puede ganar cualquier equipo, pero, reconozco que tengo el alma dividida entre el amor por el equipo español y la autoridad mostrada por Suecia que eliminó a Estados Unidos y a Japón dos de los aspirantes a alzarse con la Copa del Mundo.

A partir de lo anterior y viendo el desempeño de los dos equipos ***Suecia*** es mi favorito.

**Australia vs Inglaterra**. Este será un partido muy interesante, pues, a pesar de estar invicta la selección inglesa ha mostrado lagunas en algunas áreas de su juego que le ha impedido mantener una actuación estable durante toda la competición. En ocasiones han tenido problemas en el juego creativo y eso ha limitado su vocación ofensiva, a tal punto que dos de las victorias de la Fase de Grupos fue por 1 a o y en Octavos de Final pasó trabajo, para eliminar a Nigeria en la tanda de penales luego de no marcarle gol en el tiempo reglamentario.

Por su parte, Australia no ha logrado mantener su invicto y ha encajado más goles que su rival, pero ha mantenido un juego más estable y por momento su equipo juega como una de las mejores selecciones del mundo. Esto, unido a su condición de país sede lo hacen un rival potencialmente peligroso y extremadamente vulnerable. Veremos cuál de los dos elementos predomina y no caen presa de su ambición por llegar a la final de una competición de la que son anfitrionas.

Para ser consecuente con lo que he escrito mi favorita es la escuadra de la tierra de los canguros: ***Australia***.

Mañana conoceremos a una de las finalistas de esta copa mundial y el miércoles tendremos la otra. Serán dos semifinales intensas y cada una de las cuatro selecciones participantes intentará arribar a la final y ganar la competición por primera vez en su historia.

Suecia, España, Inglaterra o Australia será la nueva campeona del mundo y se unirá junto a Estados Unidos (4), Alemania (2), Japón (1) y Noruega (1), como los únicos países que han podido ganar, al menos, una vez la máxima competición del fútbol mundial a nivel de selecciones.

**What are my favorite teams?**

It is true that in my previous comment I let it be known that my sympathies go to Sweden and Australia. In fact, that would be the final I would like to see after everything I have seen so far.

**Sweden vs Spain**. This will be an interesting match, in which two styles of play that converge will face each other, but differ in styles and ways of playing because, despite being two countries of the European continent, the Spanish have a Latin flavor in their game that is contagious and captivating.
