 <center> *she went away, on a metal bird, to a place far from here, now I am waiting for the sun to set so that I can return to a place I have never been* </center>  <div class="text-justify"> It is funny how life seems to just float away when you get busy. Time turns into a fickle thing. It is valentines day and I do not have roses; I have poetry and sunflowers. The girl who I could never write, @urban.scout, my partner in crime, has gone back to her hometown where she studies. For now, I am writing poetry and editing photographs of her holding a sunflower. This needs to suffice as a valentines gift. Today marks a year, 365 days, since our first date. Along with the photographs, is just a small poem I wrote for her. I hope that you have the love of your life beside you. Missing a loved one is never easy. Buy them sunflowers and write to them poetry, chocolates make us fat and roses make us poor. Jokes aside, life is too short to not live to the fullest.  All of the photographs are my own taken with my Nikon D300 and 50mm Nikkor lens. The poem is also my own work.
