Sometimes there are only very few birds around and it is quite difficult to get some of them infront of my lens. On these days I concentrate on Landscape photography wheneer I see something interesting I at least try to take some pictures with my smartphone because often I probably only have my big wildlife lens with me on my Camera. The water color of the Inn River an be so different if you are on the open river on on spots where the main stream is cut off and there is only backflow into the wetlands. the color on the main river is often very dark and brown because of all the sand and mudd it carries. On the cutoffs of the main stream it can be beautiful blue like in the last pictures here.  *Wetlands of teh Inn River in Upper Austria.
