<div class="text-justify"> You may be wondering where so many bedbugs come from. Believe me, I have been asking myself that same question, I think it is due to the burning of the hills, the heat and humidity make them look for cool places, and I do not find another explanation, because in my garden there are no plants that are food sources for some of these, such as this cocoa bug or <i>Antiteuchus tripterus</i>, scientific name given to this newborn mother that I show you today. I tell you that a couple of weeks ago I saw it in one of the Asian mantle plants in the garden and I did not pay attention to it, since on other occasions I had seen them and then I did not know more about them. After a few days, I saw that the little hatchlings had already hatched and I wanted to take a couple of pictures, realizing that in one of the purple maguey plants, there was also a mother with her little hatchlings.

Looking for information about these little ones I found out that they are quite protective mothers, something that I have been able to realize, because, on the different occasions that I have passed by where they are only once I found the young without their mothers, so I ran out to take my camera and make a capture at least, I must confess that it is very likely that I will end up cutting the little leaf and throwing it in some bush because I feel a little bit scared to kill them, because they certainly do not represent any threat, but it does not convince me to have them at home, although of course, they do not reproduce in industrial quantities as the tiger spiders that I still do not get over that each bag of eggs can carry up to 400 offspring.

Some of these pictures were taken at night, so I had to make use of a good flashlight to better capture the details of the little hatchlings, which I must say, are quite beautiful, for how horrendous they end up being when they grow up, They say that most of the babies are beautiful (there are some exceptions, of course), the only capture I made in broad daylight, and it was a good sun, was the picture where the mother is taking care of her eggs, and after that day I didn't see her take off from her eggs and hatchlings until today. In fact, that photograph was the one I liked the least since the colors are quite affected by the sunlight, let's say that it looks like a vintage photograph, and even when I lower the warmth more towards the cold tones, you can say that it does not seem that such a thing had been done.

In the majority of the photographs few adjustments were made, mostly brightness, lighting, saturation and warmth, the truth is that they did not require major adjustments, this is thanks to the lamp, wow it is magic, I must work on installing a more powerful flash or failing that install some of the lamps that I have to adapt to my old Nikon.

<div class="text-justify">Y ustedes se preguntarán ¿De dónde sale tanta chinche? Créanme, esa misma pregunta me la he estado haciendo yo, creo que se debe a la quema de los cerros, el calor y la humedad hace que busquen lugares frescos, y es que no encuentro otra explicación, pues en mi jardín no hay plantas que sean fuentes de alimentos para algunos de estos, como por ejemplo esta chinche del cacao o <i>Antiteuchus tripterus</i>, nombre científico que recibe esta madre recién parida que hoy les muestro. Les cuento que hace un par de semanas vi que estaba en una de las plantas de manto asiático del jardín y no le preste atención, ya que en otras ocasiones las había visto y ya después no sabía más de ellas. Pasados unos días vi que ya las pequeñas crías habían eclosionado y quise tomarle un par de fotografías, percatándome que en una de las plantas de maguey morado también había una madre con sus pequeñas crías.

Buscando información sobre estos pequeños me encontré con que son unas madres bastante protectoras, algo de lo que me he podido dar cuenta, pues, en las diferentes ocasiones que he pasado por donde se encuentran solo una vez encontré a las crías sin sus madres, por lo que salí corriendo a tomar mi cámara y hacerle una captura al menos, debo confesar que es muy probable que termine cortando la pequeña hoja y tirándola en algún matorral, porque me da cierta cosita matarlos, porque ciertamente no representan ninguna amenaza, pero no termina de convencerme tenerlos en casa, aunque claro está, no se reproducen en cantidades industriales como las arañas tigre que aún no termino de superar que cada bolsa de huevos puede cargas hasta 400 crías.

Algunas de estas capturas las hice entrando la noche, así que tuve que hacer uso de una buena linterna para poder capturar mejor los detalles de las pequeñas crías, que debo decir, son bastante hermosas, para lo horrendas que terminan siendo cuando crecen, bien dicen que la mayoría de los bebes son hermosos (hay algunas excepciones, claro está), la única captura que hice a plena luz del día, y vaya que hacia un buen sol, fue la fotografía en donde sale la madre cuidando sus huevos, ya después de ese día no la vi despegarse de sus huevos y crías hasta el día de hoy. De hecho, esa fotografía fue la que menos me agrado, ya que los colores se ven bastante afectados por la luz solar, digamos que parece una fotografía vintage, y aun cuando baje la calidez más hacia los tonos fríos, se puede decir que no parece que se hubiera hecho tal cosa.

En la mayoría de las fotografías se hicieron pocos ajustes, en su mayoría, brillo, iluminación, saturación y calidez, la verdad es que no requirieron de mayores ajustes, esto gracias a la lampara, vaya que es mágica, debo trabajar en instalar un flash más potente o en su defecto instalar alguna de las lámparas que tengo para adaptarle a mi vieja Nikon.
