Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊  Oh, my land, it’s been a busy week. We had our 9-year-old granddaughter overnight for a couple nights for the first time and that was a fun adventure for us all. While she was here, I showed her how to make bread (above) and buns and cinnamon buns. 😊  Our main garden tomatoes, the new Roma’s we tried this year, are looking good. 😊  Our roof, the place where all the cool Pigeons, European Starlings, Red-winged Blackbirds, and Blackbirds hang out. 😊  The lovely H&T stopping by to hang out on my handsome husband while she grabs a snack. 😊  H&T cleaning herself up after finishing her breakfast. 😊  Chilling squirrel. 😊  For a while we had though the Barn Swallows had moved back into this house, but we found out this week it was Nacho that was living inside with her new babies. 😊  Our granddaughter named the newest female squirrel to visit us, Rose, here she is talking to Rose and trying to convince her to come eat out of her hand. 😊  Having a snack and chat with our granddaughter and H&T. 😊  Guitar lesson with grampy. 😊  I made my very first craft this week, it was easy, once I’d watched a friend doing theirs, for a few minutes, not perfect by any means, but not bad for the first try. 😊  This is the friend that showed me how to do my first craft, she’s quite talented, especially considering she just started crafting last year, herself, standing in front of her wares for the craft sale that was held as part of the Canada Day celebrations in town yesterday. 😊  The hatchlings are officially part of our main flock now and everyone’s been getting along well, which is a nice surprise and huge blessing. 😊  Some of our sunset colours. 😊  The mint, both pepper and spear, are taking over the circle we made around our septic tank cover, and it sure smells nice. 😊  One of the new generation of chipmunks hanging out in our rock wall. 😊  A couple of our Cravens (Crows/Ravens combined, as I can’t tell them apart,) grabbing a snack. 😊  Pigeons putting on an air show for us. 😊  Rose (on the pallet) and H&T (on his lap) both keeping my handsome husband busy with their requests for more sunflower seeds. 😊  Rose coming over to say good morning to me. 😊  My first batch of garlic infused vinegar, for salads (or fries and anything else you’d use vinegar on), was made this week and tasted great. 😊  Well, that was how things have been going for us here.
