Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊  This week has been another busy one. (I imagine every week will be that way as things start ripening and harvest season arrives, plus we’re getting our winter hay delivery today.) All of our smaller Sunflowers have blossomed, now we’re just waiting on a few of the larger ones to open up completely. 😊  Sunflowers are so pretty, in all their stages, at least we think so. 😊  The Green Bell Peppers are starting to change colour. 😊  Our house Lemon trees are doing well outside this summer, hopefully we’ll eventually get a lemon or two from her. 😊  We harvested another seven pounds of sweet peppers this week. 😊  The setting sun shining through to us under the apple trees. 😊  We made another batch of apple butter this week, its so good on toast and pancakes and in cake batter. 😊  Another nice sunset shot from this past week. 😊  These Sunflowers are over 6 feet tall, even my handsome husband, who is 6’2’’ has to look up at them. 😊  The apple butter after it was done canning. 😊  Our handsome bull Prince Lee enjoying some of the windfall apples that fell this week. 😊  The pumpkins, squash and gourds are all doing amazing this year. 😊  There are a lot of different sizes, shapes, and colours in our patch for sure. 😊  This one looks like a balloon that’s just about to pop, to me. LOL! 😊  Pollination station. 😊  I love this shot from above. What do you think, which do you like better, the above or the side shot? 😊  It took me a minute to realize there were actually four pumpkins together here, not three. 😊  I wasn’t tall/long enough to be able to move the leaf out of the way for this one, but I thought the colours/patterns were pretty enough to share anyway. 😊  A close up of those four pumpkins…much easier to see the fourth one in this picture. 😊  Just down the row from those first four grouped together, we found these three big orange ones together. It’s going to be a good pumpkin seed harvest, if we go by the size of these. 😊  One of the large Sunflowers; over 6 feet tall; looking up at it from down at my 4’9” height; on Friday. 😊  We weren’t sure we’d get any, but we’ve got Scarlet Runner Beans! 😊  Our Roma's are turning red! 😊  We have a new pigeon that started visiting this week and we’re calling her Bronwyn. 😊  Rainy sunset shot. 😊  A better photo of Bronwyn. 😊  Our handsome grand-puppy, Tiny, watching some of the pigeons and little songbirds. 😊  His sudden head turn startled the other pigeons. 😊  Wow, Bronwyn really stands out during the air shows. 😊  Her wings are beautiful, but so are all the others’ wings as well. 😊  Well, that was how things have been going for us here.
