Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊  The Daffodils started to die off this week, they were a nice addition to that garden bed. 😊  This guy just swooped in and landed in front of the others to take their snack. 😊  The pigeons grabbing a snack on the rock wall. I love when I get them with their wings splayed open, the feathers are so cool to see; at least we find them to be. 😊  The hatchlings being uncooperative of my attempted group photo. I’m grateful that all 11 are in the picture, too bad some of them are trying to escape and others are hiding under others. 😊  Our neighbour and his daughter came for a visit and spent a bit of time cuddling Pansy and the others while they were here. 😊  I was snapping a shot of Duo (left) and Floyd (right) hanging out in the herb garden area and got photo bombed by one of the other hatchlings just as I took it, you can see their head just above Floyd’s on the right. 😊  Ducky grabbing a drink. 😊  We have a pair of Bumblebees that like to pollinate the dandelions outside our back door. 😊  The other half of the Bumblebee pair, or the same on another dandelion. 😊  We got our spicy and sweet peppers outside, both the garden ones and these planter ones that we’re hoping to keep going inside the house over the fall/winter. 😊  It was time to turn some dehydrated oranges, lemons, and apples into fruit powder; thanks to Darcy @thepurposefulpantry on YouTube for the idea, to use in my baking projects. 😊  We love summer barbecue season, food just tastes better barbecued, in my opinion, of course. 😊  Our peas and beans started coming up this week. 😊  I’ve forgotten the exact type of beans these are, but they’re pretty. 😊  Our first ever, Mung bean, sprouted this week. 😊  This week we had crazy winds for three days, that became two very hot days that turned into two very cold and wet days, it would be nice if we could keep it somewhere in between those three for the rest of the summer, but even we can’t, we still get to see beautiful sights like this whenever we go outside and that’s a blessing in itself. 😊  We find it interesting that all of our apple trees bloom up and loose their blossoms at different points of the spring/summer, none at exactly the same time, yet overlapping. Is it like that for everyone, everywhere, or am I a little loonie? 😊  Look at these lovely apple blossoms, most are solid white, but a few have a pink hue to them. 😊  It was either too hot or too cold or too wet to hang out around the pond for long this week, but I did get to chat up a couple frogs. 😊  My handsome husband had to do a lot of up planting this week, including this mother Aloe plant and her daughters. 😊  He also weeded the garden bed with our Bleeding-Heart plant in it. 😊  The celery moved in next to her. 😊  Some of our spectacular sunset colours. 😊  We’ve got some volunteer garlic and tobacco plants up in the round garden bed. 😊  How many frogs do you see in this photo? Hint, there are more than one. 😊  A couple of spice cakes to get us through the weekend. 😊  With cinnamon rolls as backup, good thing too, as the pan on the left was gone before the day ended and so was a quarter of one of the spice cakes. 😊  Buns to go with the pasta/meat sauce I made to get us through the weekend. These buns were for sloppy joes tonight. 😊  We started a new pan of cinnamon buns for dessert. 😊  Well, that was how things have been going for us here.
