What's good for the goose is not always good for the gander!

We are all unique creatures living life on our own terms. With our uniqueness comes our own preferences. What is exciting for one person might not be the same for someone else. That is completely okay because we are all here for our own experiences.

Sometimes it is great to be with someone who shares our same point of view, and perhaps share the same passions, but it doesn't always work that way.

We often hear the phrase that opposites attract, and in cases like that I believe that these people must have some similarities otherwise it will never work out. We usually attract others who are like-minded and in general, people are attracted to those who complement their own qualities.

Just because we are like-minded doesn't mean that we are going to enjoy doing the same things, but that doesn't matter. We can still do our own things on our time.

My husband enjoys fishing very much and find it relaxing. I don't understand the fishing thing and even though I tried it, it just feels like a waste of time to me. It actually has quite the opposite effect on me. It makes me angry to sit there and think of all the things I could have done instead. All I want to do while he is fishing, is to get back home. Nowadays if he goes fishing, I use that time to write.

Although we are all unique and we all have our own interests, the ONE thing that we ALL have in common is that we have choices. Sometimes we make good choices, and sometimes we make bad choices, and that also doesn't matter BUT

No matter what your circumstances are, it costs you absolutely NOTHING to be kind to others.

Take others in consideration at all times and be kind.
