Captains Log: Stardate December 16th 2017 I awoke from my chambers this morning and looked out the portal to find the local terrain covered with icy precipitation, snow.  Ah f$ck! Winter has finally arrived.. We were doing so well, for Atlantic Canada not to get snow till now is pretty sweet, but now that it's here I expect the next three months to be a miserable, slippery and cold affair. Some people like snow, not me. I mean as a rugged, tough and sexy Canadian I'm used to it, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it! I hate wearing boots, I dont like shoveling it and I prefer if snot didn't run down my face when I'm outdoors. In winter everything is dead  It's here now, I guess I have to buck up and deal with it. I suppose it's nice for the kids to go play in it, maybe it makes Christmas more legit but I was enjoying the unseasonably mild temperatures we've been having here in Halifax up till now.
