Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. The Almighty God is our Shepard. This means He takes responsibility for our welfare. A Shepard provides for the sheep, protects the sheep and takes care of every need of the sheep. In the context of this text and every particular situation we find ourselves, the Almighty God is more than fit into the responsibility of the shepherd over our lives. Thus, we should look up to Jesus, both in good times and bad times. Above all, we should trust Him with our lives. This involves following Him without questions. We should submit to Him in everything. We should do what He wants us to do, go where He wants us to go, wear what He wants us to wear, say what He wants us to say, among others. Just as the shepherd have responsibility, the sheep has some too. In order to enjoy the benefits from the shepherd, we must be the sheep indeed, in terms of responsibility. Our responsibility is to trust and obey the shepherd. By track record, the Almighty God (the Shepherd) have never failed, thus we should do our path to ensure the steady flow of the benefits of this union. Let's pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being our Shepard. Please help us to trust and obey you in everything, in Jesus name. Amen.
