Dark Energy Crystals aka [DEC](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-dark-energy-crystal-dec) is one of the important in game token of the game Splinterlands. There is a lot you can do with $DEC buy and rent cards burn DEC to participate in ongoing events in the game and there is much more associated to DEC in general. $DEC was designed to a soft pegged price of $0.001 USD and ever since it dropped below its pegged price the Splinterlands team had been working on various ways the recent one being the - **Great Burning Event**, which recently got over where almost 380+ Million $DEC and 161+ Million $DEC-D was burned so as to help get $DEC back to its dollar value i.e. 1K $DEC to be equivalent to ONE dollar. Also just an FYI.. if you did participate in the event - **Great Burning Event** and had burned $DEC or $DEC-B go check out your rewards. I did participate in the event and will talk about my rewards in my proceeding blog posts.

Did we see any action to the price of DEC? Yes, we did and the same is reflected in above graph taken from coingecko. Currently $DEC is trading close to $0.0008+ down almost 3% today but whereas we saw in almost touched $0.009 and was pretty close to its pegged value. There are very high hopes and different initiatives lined up to get $DEC trading around $0.001 - so if you are planning to invest this is the right time to go buy a chunk of $DEC to gain at least 10 to 15% gain in near term.  Ok lets now jump into my strategy for $DEC - $SPS Liquidity Pool & where do I stand with it of date today i.e. 30th July; 2023...

### My Strategy for $DEC - $SPS Liquidity Pool

At the moment, I am getting close to 180+ $SPS token daily via the staking rewards. And close to 1.5K+ $DEC via my rental income for renting out my Splinterlands cards where I am leveraging the [Splex App](https://splex.gg/invoice) and another 500 $DEC from PKM-SPS liquidity pool rewards.  So here is how my enhancing my stake in $DEC along with $SPS...

### Daily $SPS - $DEC Addition to LP; Pool

Here is the addition to LP today; where more than 5K+ DEC and its equivalent $SPS was added to the $DEC - $SPS Liquidity Pool. My investment here in this pool has reached over $1k+ mark now. The best part is that I have gained all these dollars via the staking and other passive income streams created here on the HIVE Blockchain. 

The plan ahead is to continue to **BUILD** this pool until $DEC regains its peg value. I am in no rush to book any profits at the moment. All that I am interested in is to redirect all my passive income streams to further earn via these liquidity pools. To be honest I am also converting all my $VOUCHER tokens rewards to $DEC or either $SPS and at at same time redirecting them to the LP pools. Its better off to have them generate more value for you by providing liquidity for the assets and receive more rewards from it - as opposed to selling them at lower prices and regret later. It hurts to see $SPS & $DEC trading at these low levels and best one could do is **HOLD** and continue to **BUILD** until conditions are favorable for you.
