Its been a while that I logged into my [Wax cloud wallet.](https://all-access.wax.io/). I have a good number of $WAX tokens staked, so I thought I would login claim my $WAX rewards and stake them back in. But unfortunately go this error message while entering the 2FA authentication code::

### "says invalid "2fa"

Did anyone else experienced this issue off lately or recently? I tried to search google with this error message and didn't find a good post as to how to overcome this **invalid "2fa"** error message. First thing that I tried to overcome is the message is to reset my WaX 2FA on google authentication App. But after a couple of attempts to login and entering the right authentication code, I got this warning::

>"Uh-oh, you have too many failed login attempts. Check your username and password and try again after 30 minutes"

Too many failed login attempts and now I need to wait for 30 minutes before I could make any other attempt to login to my [Wax cloud wallet.](https://all-access.wax.io/). I was entering the right 2fa number and had doubled checked a couple of time but unfortunately after a couple of attempts, landed with the above warning message of failed login attempts and now need to wait for 30 minutes before I could do anything else to login to wax cloud wallet. 

### Google Authenticator - Time Sync Now

There were suggestions on reddit to sync the time on the Google Authenticator App. Based on that suggestion, I went to the setting section of the GA app and then clicked the - "Sync Now" to correct any time related sync issues.  Following are the steps you need to follow to do the same:: 

- Login to the Google Authenticator App
- Navigate to the Setting tabs
- Click the Time Correction for Codes
- Click **Sync Now** 

And you are all set to get rid of the error - **"says invalid "2fa"**. Most of the times error like these scare us and we have the feeling is my money lost. But then when you do a bit of a research and try out different solutions proposed on the internet it makes you feel comfortable and even more happy when you get rid of the error/warning.

Finally, following the above steps, I was able to get rid of the error message and was able to login. I was close to 79+ $WAX to be claimed. More about it in my next blog as to what's my plan with the $WAX tokens ahead in this year 2023. I hope you find this article helpful and if you are facing any issues with your login to Wax cloud wallet, these simple steps to correct the time codes via Sync method on google authenticator should come in handy/rescue.... cheers
