 `Source: Mashable` I guess you may have heard of the [Artificial Intelligence](https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/artificial-intelligence-ai.asp) technology and how it has sparked a good conversation across the internet world. AI still is a hot topic on the internet since its introduction into the internet space. [ChatGPT](https://chat.openai.com/) is an AI-powered language model developed by OpenAI, capable of generating human-like text based on context and past conversations. I asked ChatGPT a question: >  I cross checked the same question with another AI tool and the answer was different as per that AI tool. I again, asked the same question from ChatGPT and this time he had a different answer while apologizing for any confusion in his previous response. >  And upon asking the same question for the third time, he again apologized for any confusion in his previous response and coming up with the answer that he fetched on the first attempt. >  That clearly is showing that you shouldn't be relying wholly on ChatGPT and should cross check whatever information this AI tool is giving you because you might not know that you have been given not the right information. The tool with the help of which I cross checked the same question giving me a different answer was [Perplexity.ai](https://www.perplexity.ai/). I asked the same question from Perplexity and it gave me a different answer while also sharing the sources for the information it has gathered from. >  Now, I don't know who is right, but I do think like Perplexity has some weight in its answer as it also have shared the sources from it has gathered the information. On the other hand ChatGPT has shown its confusion in its answers. What I like about Perplexity is that it also give you the source of the information from where it has collected it. It gives a reference to the source by linking it. My point is, don't trust ChatGPT blindly. Always cross check for whatever information this AI tool gives you.
