<br>Hi all, awesome Silvery Bloggers!


<br>The March edition of #BOM - *Blog of the Month* has already closed and winners will be announced in the upcoming days.  We want to keep our Silver Bloggers active, and have been thinking about new initiatives to encourage you to post in the community more, and not only for #bom. We also know that deciding what to write about is hard.  Writer's block is a thing, so a least once a month we're going to suggest a [writing prompt](https://freelance-writing.lovetoknow.com/writing-prompts/what-is-writing-prompt). 

### But first

The Silver Bloggers' community continues to grow.  We have recently surpassed the 1,000 mark with 1007 subscribers, and of these, 180 are active.  

### As a reminder -

## Silver Prompt 1: Cryptocurrencies and retirement 

As Silver Bloggers, many of us are looking for alternative ways to build a nest egg for our retirement; those not ready to retire, often need that extra income to supplement their finances and to enjoy hobbies and leisure times, like traveling - especially.

Besides wanting to write and share with our peeps, we also have a desire to learn more about blockchain and cryptocurrency. Many of us Silvery folk see cryptocurrencies as a source to generate some of that extra income. 

So...why don't you tell us about any of these experiences:

* How did you get started in cryptocurrencies? 
* Are cryptocurrencies included in your retirement plans? 
* And if you are already an experienced crypto holder, share your knowledge with us, with a disclaimer added that it's not financial advice ;) 

Or it could be any other crypto-related topic that resonates for you at this age and stage.

- Write 100% original content of at least 300 words

There will be no prizes for this initiative - depending on how things unfold, that could change...or not. ***However***, selected blogs **will** be included in a special #SilverPrompts curation post.
