Without a doubt, the existence of the sea from time to time always adorns various stories. both about history, the world of fisheries, the world of maritime affairs, and competition for sea transportation products. We might agree that in prehistoric times, the sea was the main route for human movement from one continent to another using transportation that had not been touched by technology or was often called "traditional." *"Therefore, it is essentially a given that the sea is where a nation's civilization begins" (this is just my opinion).* In the present era, traces of civilization are again visible. Large ships appeared, and smoke from the chimneys indicated the existence of propulsion machines which were products of technological sophistication. I've chosen the phenomenon as my photo hunt. Photo location: Ujong Blang Beach, [Lhokseumawe](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lhokseumawe)City, a small city in Indonesia that is directly adjacent to the Malacca Strait. [//]:# (!pinmapple 5.19533 lat 97.14654 long d3scr) For me, the sea and its activities always offer different views every day. Therefore. Photo objects in this area are still my favorite place to hunt for photos and tell a short story about them. Several traditional boats owned by fishermen on the coast became my first choice for this hunt. The choice of this object returns to the beginning of the narrative that I built at the beginning. Large ships were visible at the time anchored on the beach. I muttered, *"Perfect timing,"* as I snapped a few pictures. These ships are present for a reason—there are multiple ports involved in the oil and gas industry along the Lhokseumawe coastline. On that particular day, several sizable ships could be seen lining up to dock at the harbor. *All my friends, wherever you are!* My photo hunt continues with other objects. From a distance, I saw several large pieces of wood washed up on the breakwater. The shape is very unique. The wood pores are very tight. At the bottom, there are rocks entwined with roots. I have the urge to take some wood home for my collection. However, it is very big and heavy. *** On the other hand, there are also other pieces of wood. It looks very old, and the texture is very hard. At the ends of the branches, there is some hard material, like small reddish stones. After I looked closely, the rocks were covered in hardened sap that came from the stem. Without thinking, I gouged out the sap. This process takes a long time. The rock stuck perfectly to the tree trunk. Finally, I managed to separate some pieces of sap from the tree trunk. As shown in the image below: *** *** That day, November 28, 2022, became my memory when hunting for photos with sea views and their activities. I think this community is the best place to share this experience. Taken With: Canon EOS 3000D + 17-50 mm lens canon **Thank You: Nanda Al Bintang** @ichsannanda
