The trick is not to just buy in quantity, but to find that delicate balance between supply and demand. As you stated, as long as it's a big seller, you make good money, but you don't want any left sitting on the shelves for any length of time. 
Also, it is imperative to rotate the stock as well, and put the older stock in front of the newer stock. That should be done daily.
