Today marks my 30th Day here in SteemIt. I admit that it was not all smooth sailing. Like most of you, I came here with the expectation that in my first week, I'd already earn some decent money. But that wasn't the case, My IntroduceYourself post earned only $0.22 cents (Probably also my fault for posting a very lousy IntroduceYourself post). Anyway, I got really disappointed at that time, so like most people who got snobbed in here do, I shifted to posting random quotes, random images, to copied memes. Less the effort, less the disappointment. I did that for over a week , until I got bored and possibly guilty for posting spammy low-quality posts, I then stopped. 

And then one day,  it just came up to me. If I really want the people in here to take me seriously, I at least need to show them some effort. I then started to interact with the people in here, commenting on their posts, finding some contests to possibly join. I also started to write some stuffs about CTF(Capture The Flag) and as expected I still got cents from it lol. 

But I'm glad I didn't stop.  One particular contest, changed my life here in SteemIt. Thanks to @abh12345 Curation League contest, I got to meet the awesome and beautiful @techslut.  While I didn't exactly win that contest, in fact I was far away from winning.  The awesome and beautiful @techslut still delegated some of her SP to me. That simple act of generosity inspired me to stay and be more active here in SteemIt. Thank You Very Much! :) I also would like to say sorry If I am being too annoying by asking too many questions and even sending some of my links in DM's. Sorry! :) 

So to all newbies there who feel like giving up, Don't! You're not the only one who had a hard time when they first came in here. Just keep on interacting , keep on writing some good stuffs. You'll never know whose reading them, maybe a whale will notice and help you. Who knows! But one thing's for sure, you'll eventually find your place here if you don't give up, so keep on writing! :)
