Today is a busy day for me. I have three different classes today. The first one was ceramic mold preparation. I poured several molds last week which were fired in the kiln while I was away from class. One item is a throne looking chair, another item is a small plaque that says "Mother" and the third item is a plate.  I painted some black glaze on the chair because I intend to use a low fire decal on it once it comes out of the kiln. On the small mother plaque I put a green glaze with clear glaze on top of it.  On the plate, I am using a different technique that I have not used before with pottery. I used some tracing paper to trace an image and then I will paint the traced image with glaze.  Some of the students that have used this technique have some really cool pictures that make wonderful decorative plates.   I've got to go because my Spanish class is about to begin.
