# SO FAR, SO GOOD(pretty much😁)
## After a dismal gardening season last year, and having moved the garden to a completely new place this year, we have harvested our first goodies from the new garden.🥳🥳😄

## We harvested twenty five little carrots so far. They are all gone already, eaten by the family and a few by our sneaky chickens.😁😁 They taste amazing and I'm extremely glad I planted as many as I did! I would guess that about five or six hundred carrots were planted and as of now it looks like they will all be harvested in a month or so.🤤
# HOT AND SWEET HARVEST
## The peppers are doing great as well. We harvested eight Hot Hungarian Wax and seven Sweet Banana peppers...but I messed up drying them and they went to the chickens...who didn't like them.😂😂

# TIME TO BE CORNY😂🤣
## Yeah, I'm a dad. Can you tell by the bad dad jokes?...But seriously, our heritage sweet corn is small but fertile!🌽🌽 The tassles have popped!....

## And the styles(silks) have shot out of the stalks so I went around and and pollinated the little guys so our little ears of corn can start growing.😍

# SUNFLOWER SEEDS ON THE WAY
## This year we were able to plant about twenty sunflowers. These are of the mammoth size, and should grow somewhere between fifteen to twenty feet(five to seven meters)!! They are all already about six feet(two meters) tall, so I believe they will get there. We lost a couple to some stink bugs that enjoyed snacking on them...a little diatomaceous soil took care of that issue though.☠️⚰️💀

# CHIPMUNKS OR RABBITS?
## The garden has suffered a bit of a lose in the greens section. We had visitors that helped themselves to all the Kale, broccoli, cauliflower, and even some carrot tops.😬😬 I am going to build a simple scarecrow tonight that I hope will eliminate this issue.

# POTATOES A GO-GO
## So far growing our potatoes above ground in containers has went really well. I have added more levels twice so far and am going to add one more this weekend. I'm hopeful the roots/potato partsof the plants are doing as well as what I see above ground.🤞🤞

# SOME EXTRA GOODIES
## We were alao able to harvest some Lemon Verbana, peppermint, and spearmint. They were all hung to dry...but the chickens apparently can jump higher than I thought.😂😂 And they robbed us of every bit of it. Luckily those plants are doing great and we will be able to harvest from them several more times.😁

# TIME AND ENERGY VAMPIRES...
## Friends and loved ones, while it is of the utmost importance to use our time and energy to help and to protect those in need...it is just important to make sure we are responsible with our time and energy, for there are those out there who would use up all of each of them, if we allowed them to. Some may not even realize how much they do it. But be mindful of those who constantly ask for help, especially for things you know they could handle themselves, or without having attempted things themselves. Also, there will be those who may regularly request your help, but never quite seem to have the time to help you(or others). You must be constantly aware of who and how you are helping others, and even just the company you keep...for we are each only given so many hours a day, and in total for our life and with that we only can expend so much energy and we must keep a mindful watch on how we use each of them. I love you all and wish you each the best, happiest most loving day/week/month/year/life.😁🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
