I like reading the testimonies of people and how they made it from grass to riches, this Isn't because of its inspirational impact, but because of the pattern of uniqueness to these stories. When success stories are not unique, it's hardly possible to appreciate, because there's always that "X" factor that makes a difference. Of course, we have fake success stories, these are mainly for advertisement purposes, to drive cheap emotions, and create investment sentiments, especially the ones we see from **GNLD** and **MLM** schemes. These are purely similar; starting with how they bought a specific product, introduced a couple of hundred people to the group, and now they're wealthy and living expensive lives in Dubai. > **This Fake Camaraderie Can Be Infectious** There are no contents, no patterns, or even directions to these stories because it's a saturated industry, where the aim is to just "be" rich to bring more people. Sometimes, we're most fascinated by "success" and this fascination, makes us underappreciate the concept or beauty of "efforts". The process of time is one of the reasons why people value their accommodation. The way a *9 to 5er* will appreciate owning their first car, will be different from how a *catfisher* or fraudster would do so. This is because, there's dignity of appreciation when people build success through the integration of time, effort, and work. #### True Appreciate Lies On Understanding "Efforts" People who were builders always had a unique story to tell. Steve Harvey is always used to telling people he had $30 and sleeping in his car. Some others will say, they were homeless, and feeding once a day. The uniqueness of these stories is what creates a tipping point. These tipping points are what create altruistic and genuine appreciation. It requires one to look at the journey, perhaps envisage or imagine it. Put themselves in the shoe of those people who own the testimonies, and boom! True inspiration is born. On the contrary, when people are mostly drawn to the *"happily ever after"* of success stories, it makes them develop the attitude of being excessively hasty, impatient, and greedy. They begin to give in to comparing themselves to others. (which is something we mostly do when we're frustrated with our efforts, it's a human thing) ### Acting on inspiration is a difficult thing The adrenaline a success story gives often last for a few moments, it pumps you up and when there's nothing left to work with, you're back to needing another story to inspire you, but this isn't how to live. One of the reasons why we need inspiration is because we need sentimental reasons to do unbelievable things. Things are impossible, only when we're not inspired, but when we learn of the conquest of other people, it gives us hope that we can become conquerors too, but following this sequence too often can make us bereft of innovation.

> **We live in a world where a lot of people are "idea stealers" rather than 'idea generators"** so it's always refreshing to see people who did what others would never think of doing and made a living out of it. Being unique is indeed difficult, this is because it's possible to share sameness in talent, but differences in opportunities. This means that two people can be talented in one craft, but only one person might carve the opportunity to monetize their talent. > **The problem is not being talented** ........almost everyone in the world has something to offer that another person might be interested in paying for, but one of the problems of establishing value is that a person must firstly recognize the value within them, agree that this "raw value" is polishable, and envision the places they can reach, set a direction for themselves, put in the work, and give it time. At the end of the day, inspirations are mere sentiment that acts as adrenaline, when there's nothing within us to act on this adrenaline, we might need inspiration to get out of bed on a daily.

> **Interested in some more of my works?**
##### [Reviewing A $400 Samsung Galaxy A72 (photos Included)](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/reviewing-a-400-samsung-galaxy-a-72-photos-included) ##### [Hive's Scalability & The Compromise Of Commitments](https://hive.blog/hive-153850/@josediccus/hives-scalability-and-the-compromise-of-commitments) ##### [Money: The Consequences Of Making The Right & Wrong Decisions](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/money-the-consequences-of-making-the-right-and-wrong-decisions) ##### [The Nigerian Economy: Monopolizing Incompetence](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/the-nigerian-economy-monopolizing-incompetence) ##### [The Experiential Process of Understanding Money](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/mcxlpomk) ##### [A Case Of Theft On Hive: Here's Why Some People Choose Scam.](https://hive.blog/hive-153850/@josediccus/a-case-of-theft-on-hive-heres-why-some-people-choose-scam)
 Posted Using [LeoFinance Alpha](https://leofinance.io/@josediccus/-the-x-factor-in-your-success-story)
