### The Onus To Content-Creating

The issue with writer's block is always prevalent and this is because of the pressure to constantly remain creative and unique. For users on hive, the pressure to be creative is subconscious, the reason is that, there's no deadline, no external pressure or commitment to be creative. However, user's on Hive are obliged to grow their accounts, by showing up every day creating contents, forming relationships through interaction, engaging with the chain by growing one's stake and even taking the time to understand how it changes overtime and blending with these changes.

Writer's block is prevalent in almost every action, it stems from the inability to find the creative spark to write a thrilling comment that could make impact or add a depth in value to the content of a creator to as far as creating a qualitative content. However, not everyone is a natural content creator, some people find it difficult to express their ideas through writing and one of the reason is the inability to correctly translate their thought through writing.

Some people are unnatural writers because of their hustles or "can-do" spirit. Sometimes their abilities to make use of environment often makes them writers, not by default or design but by opportunity. In the past few days **PolyCub** is the predominant discussion on the hive blockchain, some days before that, it was ***psyberx**. Now, you can easily see that more people are writing about these two projects, in forms of investment tutorials and personal investment choices.

The reason is that most of these posts are reportative, educative and information in natural rather than the writer's creative ideas and concepts. This is a proof to how a fraction of the chain are natural writers, while others aren't. Nevertheless, the hive blockchain is huge, content creating and engagement is only but a fraction of how to get traction on the chain. Owning a huge stake is a form of creating an on-chain interaction. For example, if a person is powering up madly, this alone creates a non-verbal objective which communicates the intent of that person towards the chain.

### Content & Traction

This isn't to say having money automatically buys you traction. Part of the ways to naturally create traction is through contenting. For example, If a person wants to run for witness, no matter how much they have, (means) they still need to communicate their intents by partially writing and partially creating useful tools that can be mostly beneficial to the chain. In reality, contenting can be diverse, so this makes its intent to be different.

Sometimes when we extrinsically create to make money alone it hinders the creative process. It's one of the minor reasons amidst numerous others why people experience*writer's block*. However, no one is under obligation to create unless they've set targets for themselves. Setting target is good, but measuring growth by numbers on Hive, creates an illusion that efforts being put in by an individual isn't good enough.

The chain has fabricated diverse ways for people to create even better and no one has to be to best of writers to create traction for themselves. So the issue with writer's block isn't due to just being bland. Truth is, there is a scope to content creating. If a person is reliant on their abilities to create things out of nothing, it becomes difficult to replicate this energy. Some of the most consistent creators are not always the best.

The real thing is for one to be consistent, they have to be vast, well-read and exposed. On Hive, there's no metrics for quality, this is because quality content is subjective, but almost everyone agrees that a good content, should have **efforts**. The metrics by big curators might be different. Some content creators tailor their contents to meet the requirements of big curators, this is total purposeful, but this wouldn't be forever binding. The issue is, the chain is dynamic and blending with the changes can affect the scopes of creating.

### Adapting To Dynamism

Adaptation is a big problem when it comes to contenting. There are niches that are not lucrative and there are niches that are. There was a time when art was very lucrative, due to how dynamic the chain is, this has taken a dent. Some people are not adaptive with their content creating styles and one of this is due to autovotes, people starts creating differently when the upvotes are no longer coming.

However, without seamless dynamism, it would be difficult for some to remain constantly creative, while churning out contents upon contents. This isn't to say a content creator should change, rather improvise. Improvisation is meant to make an existing system or style to be better. Sometimes writer's block is an illusion we automatically create when we haven't taken the necessary steps to be better. This isn't always the case as sometimes we can go through a process of being unproductive.
