Hello dear friends of the Hive Open Mic community! Week #173, with the theme “Memories“. My participation will be with a song by Paul McCartney, released in the mid 60’s, in the album: Help!, its title is: “Yesterday“, and it is the first song that The Beatles presented with only one of its members. 
The song was interpreted by its composer, McCartney, with an acoustic guitar and accompanied by a string quartet (two violins, viola and cello) and can be considered as a ballad. It is said to be the most covered song in the history of popular music.
It is a song that I have been listening to for many years and I love its harmony, melody and of course its lyrics, it tells us about a man and his memories, his problems, his love, his sadness. And so are the memories, a mixture of everything, good times, happy and other not so nice, but together they make us mature, it is also a song that I sang with my older brother who is no longer here.
Also, I feel identified with the song, because when we look back at our memories, we realize that we have changed a lot, we are no longer the same, but thinking about our friends from adolescence, high school or college gives us joy, nostalgia. To think that many of those people are no longer by our side, but they were very important to us.  I also think that it is thanks to those great moments that we are what we are now. That’s why I don’t forget yesterday, but I move on. 
This makes me think a little bit about the animated movie intensely-mindful, which helps us understand that all the moments and memories we treasure in our minds, are an important part of our lives, and of building our character, tastes, and more.
Recently, looking for some songs I wanted to remember, I discovered that many of these Beatles songs have been covered in Spanish, and when I discovered Yesterday, I thought about the opportunity to sing it, and I think this is the best opportunity.

¡Hola queridos amigos y amigas de la comunidad Hive Open Mic! Semana #173, con el tema “Memories/recuerdos”. Mi participación será con una canción de Paul McCartney, lanzada a mediados de los años 60, en el álbum: Help!, su título es: “Yesterday”, y es la primera canción que The Beatles presenta con uno solo de sus integrantes. 
La canción fue interpretada por su compositor, McCartney, con una guitarra acústica y acompañado por un cuarteto de cuerdas (Dos violines, viola y Violoncelo) y puede ser considerada como una balada. Se dice que es la canción más versionada en la historia de la música popular.
Es una canción que escucho hace muchos años y me encanta su armonía, melodía y por su puesto su letra, la misma nos cuenta de un hombre y sus recuerdos, sus problemas, su amor, su tristeza. Y así son los recuerdos, una mezcla de todo, momentos buenos, felices y otros no tan agradable, pero juntos nos hacen madurar, además es una canción que cantaba junto a mi hermano mayor que ya no está.  
Además, me siento identificado con la canción, porque cuando miramos hacia atrás, en nuestros recuerdos, nos damos cuenta que hemos cambiado mucho, ya no somos los mismos, pero pensar en nuestros amigos de la adolescencia, del liceo o de la universidad nos da alegría, nostalgia. Pensar que muchas de esas personas ya no están a nuestro lado, pero que fueron muy importantes para nosotros.  También pienso que, gracias a esos grandes momentos, es que ahora somos lo que somos. Por eso no olvido el ayer, pero sigo adelante. 
Esto me hace pensar un poco en la película animada intensa-mente, que nos ayuda a entender que todos los momentos y recuerdos que atesoramos en nuestra mente, son parte importante de nuestras vidas, y de la construcción de nuestro carácter, gustos, y más.
Hace poco, buscando algunas canciones que quería recordar, descubrí que muchas de estas canciones, de los Beatles, han sido versionadas en español, y cuando descubrí Yesterday, pensé en la oportunidad de cantarla, y creo que esta es la mejor oportunidad.
