<P><div class="text-justify"> Sound, like image, is an eclectic and complex language. Entering this world implies taking advantage of whatever is literally within your reach to generate a reaction. And when it is a different one, one that shakes you and tells you how habit, it can deprive you of a myriad of fortuitous sensations.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">At least that's how I felt at the Sessions of free improvisation and sound experimentation, at Armónico and the Museo de Arte de Valencia, in Venezuela, this weekend.</div></P>

> <P><div class="text-justify">El sonido, así como la imagen, está inmerso en un lenguaje ecléctico y complejo. Adentrarse a este mundo implica aprovechar lo que literalmente esté a tu alcance para generar una reacción. Y cuando es una distinta, te sacude y dice cómo la costumbre puede privarte de un sinfín de sensaciones fortuitas.</div></P>


> <P><div class="text-justify">Al menos así fue cómo me sentí en las Sesiones de improvisación libre y experimentación sonora, en Armónico y el Museo de Arte de Valencia, en Venezuela, este fin de semana.</div></P>



<P><div class="text-justify">Musicians Adrián Arias Pomontty, Pablo García, Keban Frías and Job Tajha were part of this edition. The 4 were in charge of their instruments, a bass, electric guitar with pedals, saxophone and a sound exploration box, to travel in musical notes under the chaos of an order.</div></P>


<P><div class="text-justify">They are part of the itinerant project Misofonías, a space for sound experimentation that practices free improvisation, free jazz, poetry, noise, sound art, among other artistic expressions that come from sound language, to preserve autonomy and creative freedom, making use of its slogan "Without fear of pure sound".</div></P>


> <P><div class="text-justify">Los músicos Adrián Arias Pomontty, Pablo García, Keban Frías y Job Tajha, formaron parte de esta edición. Los 4 se encargaron desde sus instrumentos, un bajo, guitarra eléctrica con pedales, saxofón y una caja de exploración sonora, de viajar en notas musicales bajo el caos de un orden.</div></P>

> <P><div class="text-justify">Ellos integran el proyecto itinerante Misofonías, un espacio para la experimentación sonora que practica la improvisación libre, free jazz, poesía, ruido, arte, entre otras expresiones artísticas que devienen del lenguaje sonoro, para conservar la autonomía y la libertad creativa, haciendo uso de su slogan “Sin miedo al puro sonido”.</div></P>


<P><div class="text-justify">Each of these artists has their own separate projects. In fact, Misofonías is not a band or anything like that, it is a means of expression for anyone willing to travel in sound performance, and the most important thing: to make the audience travel as well.</div></P>

<P><div class="text-justify">Listening to the proposal can blow your head off, and almost literally. It is not a sound you are used to. There are no basic elements of popular music, and if there are, they are only a resource to self-deform them.</div></P>


> <P><div class="text-justify">Cada uno de estos artistas tiene sus proyectos por separado. De hecho, Misofonías no es una banda ni nada por el estilo, es un medio de expresión para cualquiera dispuesto a viajar en performances sonoros, y lo más importante: lograr que los espectadores también viajen.</div></P> 

> <P><div class="text-justify">Escuchar la propuesta te puede reventar la cabeza, y casi literalmente. No es un sonido al que estás habituado. No hay elementos básicos de la música popular, y de haberlos, son solo un recurso para autodeformarlos.</div></P> 

<P><div class="text-justify">There is no chaos in the strictest sense of the word, nor is it sought to reach this state just for the sake of it. There are discourses, forms and ways that intend to give a use to sound, taking as a starting point, musical patterns that are absorbed by the spontaneity of the moment, achieving an auditory oxymoron.</div></P> 


> <P><div class="text-justify">No hay un caos en el sentido estricto de la palabra, ni se busca llegar a este estado solo por hacerlo. Hay discursos, formas y maneras que pretenden darle un uso al sonido, tomando como punto de partida, patrones musicales que se van absorbiendo por la espontaneidad del momento, logrando un oxímoron auditivo.</div></P>
