There are many Hive games that I have played, play or invested in but it is **Splinterlands** that, most of all, has accompanied my beautiful adventure on Hive since the first months and today after more than 5 years I still enjoy posting content related to my gaming activity and still **I really enjoy playing manually in the Modern Format** where there are no bots and where there is a **Fair Play Policy** that protects human players who enjoy playing on Splinterlands manually. <center></center><center>View this Battle -> [Battle Link](https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_b27b81fe151732162ac3877e0b6305b8?ref=libertycrypto27)</center> Right now on Splinterlands is running **season 150** which has reached the halfway point and will end in just under 8 days. I would like to use my Beta and Untamed cards manually in Wild Format as well but I do not like to play manually against bots and for this reason starting from season 148 I started testing the use of a Bot in Wild Format. In this post I share **my game activity and progress** in the two formats: - **Modern Format**: I play manually and have fun. - **Wild Format**: I (non)play using XBOT and have much less fun <center> # My Modern Format Game Activity and Progress. </center> <div class="text-justify"> To play in the Modern Format I use only cards I own without renting additional cards. Excluding the Chaos Legion and Rebellion cards that I have delegated to my curation account @libertygame27 that I use in the Wild Format **in the Modern Format I use a card collection**: - consisting of **582 unbound cards** = 18326 BCX = 440475 CP - plus **135 soulbound reward cards** = 11056 BCX = 165205 CP You can see all my cards here -> https://peakmonsters.com/@libertycrypto27/cards  In Modern Format after some ups and downs I have arrived in the **Diamond III** league but my season goal is to finish the season at least in the **Diamond II** league.  My **partial win rate** in the current season is worse than the previous season but I hope to improve it in the coming days.  It is going very well my seasonal accumulation of **GLINT** also thanks to the current promotion that has increased the **gain in GLINT** by **+50%**. <center></center> <center></center> I will try to accumulate a total of **200K GLINT** during season 150 so as to speed up the upgrade of Rebellion Soulbound cards. At the beginning of next season I may have my first Rebellion Soulbound cards at the maximum level because for some cards I am very close to the maximum level such as for the Giant Alpine Skink common card for which I am only 7 BCX away from completing the upgrade to the maximum level. <center></center> What I have to try to do in the next few days is not to miss many battles without playing because I often push too hard with multitasking between the various commitments I have and don't deploy the battle formation on time.  <center>  # My Wild Format Game Activity and Progress. </center> <div class="text-justify"> In **Wild Format** season 150 is the third season in which I use [XBOT](https://xbot.app/home).  In season 148 and season 149, my earnings in SPS did not cover the costs (Wild Pass + XBOT fees). |!|!| |-|-| In the current season, I have made changes to my strategy and **hired 48 cards** that I consider useful in battle by choosing those with the cost/utility ratio in my opinion.  You can see the cards I rented in season 150 from here -> https://peakmonsters.com/@libertygame27/rental_history Thanks to these changes my season results and also my earnings have improved from the previous season and I am curious to see if at the end of the season I will be able to at least break even considering costs and earnings.  <center></center><center>Screenshot from https://xbot.app/dashboard</center> The more I use a bot in the Wild Format, the more **increased my misgivings about the choice of Wild Pass** because while it has been very helpful in reducing the number of bot-farms it is at the same time a disincentive for old players to use old cards and a disincentive for new players to purchase old cards to play in the Wild Format. I say this because in two seasons of using XBOT in the Wild Format my collection of Beta and Untamed cards worth $654 with a delegation of 50K SPS was not enough to cover the seasonal costs. This is just **my opinion** and I will continue to share it often in my posts but in my opinion **the structure of ranked play** should be: - **Modern Format**: only human players + any liquidity bots owned by Splinterlands. - **Wild Format**: human players only + any liquidity bots owned by Splinterlands - **Bot Format**: private bots and human players + Wild Pass. **The Wild Pass + bots combination in the Wild Format drives human players and new players away from this format** and is also a disincentive to buy old cards or cards close to leaving the Modern Format for a human player or at least this is the effect it has on me... Mi piacerebbe utilizzare manualmente le mie carte Beta e Untamed anche nel Wild Format ma non mi piace giocare manualmente contro i bots e per questo motivo a partire dalla stagione 148 ho iniziato a testare l'utilizzo di un Bot nel Wild Format. Il **mio win rate parziale** nella stagione in corso è peggiore della stagione precedente ma spero di migliorarlo nei prossimi giorni.  Sta andando molto bene il mio accumulo stagionale dei **GLINT** anche grazie alla promozione in corso che ha aumentato il **guadagno in GLINT** del **+50%**. <center></center> <center></center> Proverò ad accumulare un totale di **200K GLINT** durante la stagione 150 in modo da velocizzare l'upgrade delle carte Rebellion Soulbound. All'inizio della prossima stagione potrei avere le mie prime carte Rebellion Soulbound di massimo livello perchè per alcune carte sono molto vicino al livello massimo come ad esempio per la carta comune Giant Alpine Skink per la quale mi mancano solo 7 BCX per completare l'upgrade al livello massimo. <center></center> Quello che devo cercare di fare nei prossimi giorni è di non perdere molte battaglie senza giocare perchè spesso spingo troppo con il multitasking tra i vari impegni che ho e non schiero la formazione di battaglia in tempo.  <center> # My Wild Format Game Activity and Progress </center> <div class="text-justify"> Nel **Wild Format** la stagione 150 è la terza stagione in cui uso [XBOT](https://xbot.app/home).  Nella stagione 148 e nella stagione 149 i miei guadagni in SPS non hanno coperto i costi (Wild Pass + XBOT fees). ||| |-|-| Nella stagione in corso ho apportato delle modifiche alla mia strategia e **ho noleggiato 48 carte** che considero utili in battaglia scegliendo quelle dal rapporto costo/utilità secondo me migliore.  Puoi vedere le carte che ho noleggiato nella stagione 150 da qui -> https://peakmonsters.com/@libertygame27/rental_history Grazie a queste modifiche i miei risultati stagionali e anche i miei guadagni sono migliorati rispetto alla stagione precedente e sono curioso di vedere se alla fine della stagione sarò in grado di chiudere almeno in pareggio considerando costi e guadagni.  <center></center><center>Screenshot from https://xbot.app/dashboard</center> Più utilizzo un bot nel Wild Format e più **aumentano le mie perplessità sulla scelta del Wild Pass** perchè se è stato molto utile per ridurre il numero di bot-farms è allo stesso tempo un disincentivo all'utilizzo delle vecchie carte da parte dei vecchi giocatori ed è un disincentivo per i nuovi giocatori ad acquistare le vecchie carte per giocare nel Wild Format. Dico questo perchè in due stagioni di utilizzo di XBOT nel Wild Format la mia collezione di carte Beta e Untamed del valore di 654$ con una delega di 50K SPS non è stata sufficiente per coprire i costi stagionali. E' solo **la mia opinione** e continuerò a condividerla spesso nei miei post ma secondo me **la struttura del ranked play** dovrebbe essere: - **Modern Format**: solo giocatori umani + eventuali liquidity bots di proprietà di Splinterlands - **Wild Format**: solo giocatori umani + eventuali liquidity bots di proprietà di Splinterlands - **Bot Format**: bots privati e giocatori umani + Wild Pass **La combinazione Wild Pass + bots nel Wild Format allontana i giocatori umani e i nuovi giocatori da questo formato** ed è anche un disincentivo ad acquistare le vecchie carte o le carte prossime ad uscire dal Modern Format per un giocatore umano o almeno questo è l'effetto che produce su di me...
