 Today we played Splinterlands Ranked Battle once again and I took a different Archon this time. For the last few battles, I have taken the Fire Archon and lost them, so today I decided to try a different route and see what happens.

In the screenshot below, you can see that I took Aurelia, which is the Earth Archon, and my opponent also came up with the same Archon. So it was Aurelia versus Aurelia, and the lineup can be seen below as well. 

I took Barbarian as my first card because it has nice health and also defense, while my opponent came up with Dire bear. Apart from that, there were some cards I had not seen before, maybe he bought them from the market. You can see he has Vicious Quilliun, and I do not know if I have that card.

So the battle started, and after a few rounds, the match became interesting. My opponent was left with five cards while I was left with only four cards, as you can see in the screenshot below. I was excited to see how the Great Bear Druid would work because I took this card for the first time, and it has both attacks, the magic as well as the melee attack.

In the screenshot below, you can see that we both were down to three and four cards, and I do not know why this man used the range attack card in the first position. At the initial position, we should always keep it at the last position, as that is what we learned when we were playing the campaign mode. So it was useless to put that card in that position.

In the last round, you can see that we won the battle finally. The opponent was left with just one card, and we were still having three cards, so we won the battle!

This was my first victory in Splinterlands Ranked Battle, and I am quite happy. It shows that I have plus 20 points, and I think it is going to take me toward the next league.

Lastly, you can see below that the battle rules are still the normal rules, and the battle mana was 58, but I could only fill 54 mana cost because I do not have cards that suit well to be filled that much of mana.

I am happy to win my first Splinterlands Ranked Battle, and I am going to share more battles in the coming days.
