Greetings, #SilverBlogger community!

Have a wonderful start to your weekend, and may it be a success for everyone in whatever activities you choose to pursue.

And you? What did you want to be when you grew up?
And what did you become?

Oh, this question truly makes us sometimes wish we could be that little girl again, the one who dreamed so much. Later, I dreamed about my career, but I never really believed in my dreams. I think my upbringing had a big influence, or perhaps social pressure, the kind that affects us all in some way.

I dreamed of having a lot of money. I've always had money, and I can still say I have enough to do and buy so many things. Professionally, I envisioned myself leading groups, something like that, directing people, but I never gave a name to that dream.

I studied education at a professional level. It came my way, and that's how I started in this field. Later, I did some studies in administration, returning to education and obtaining certifications in this area at higher levels. Even though I always tried hard to improve in the field of education, I felt like something was missing.

I think I searched a lot, I never gave a name to what I dreamed of, I explored many paths, and I did manage to acquire material things, although I didn't see it that way. I did get my house, a car, I could go out and celebrate, I took trips within my country, but I did travel.

I still don't think I became what I once dreamed of. Among those dreams was being a speaker, on the topics I later developed in the field of thoughts, feelings, and everything that these topics encompass. I gave a few talks, but I wasn't satisfied, I didn't pursue it further, I got distracted by other things. I can say that now I still dream of being at peace, of doing things calmly, without so much rushing. My children are grateful for the time I dedicated to them when they were little; I was always there for them.

Perhaps instead of education, my professional career should have been Psychology. I say I became what I once dreamed of being, but it was many experiences that taught me so much, and they continue to teach me. I think all paths led me to others, and then I realized that perhaps I was fulfilling dreams without even noticing.

Now, more conscious, I live more fully in what I do, keeping my inner child alive. I continue to dream.
