One thing I hate is badmouthing and I try as much as possible not to do it. I have encountered a lot of people that do such and immediately I get to know they have that kind of attitude in them I tend to stay away from them. 

Badmouthing is when a person says bad things about someone to other people. It may be their boss, partner, lecturer, or close friends and people that badmouth people can destroy a solid relationship between two friends, lovers, or business partners. Like how will you go behind a person's back to say bad things about them to another person? That’s a very bad attitude which I don’t like and I don’t like associating with people that do such.

There was a time I get to talk with a lady and she was badmouthing a person she calls her best friend to me and I was very angry about that and what I conclude In my mind that day is that the lady is not a good friend because if she is she won’t come to me to badmouth the person she calls her best friend. Badmouthing can bring a person down from a high place and make them lose their helper because if you went to badmouth Mr A to Mr D who is likely to help Mr A. He might get discouraged to help him again and that may lead to Mr A's downfall.

There are several reasons people badmouth people and some do it to ruin people, their reputation or competing businesses. I hate those kinds of stuff like that and I always try my best not to say anything behind anybody's back unless I am going to say it to their face. One thing I let people know is if they don’t have anything good to say about people they should rather keep quiet and don’t say anything. Yes, I hate it with passion(badmouthing/backbiting)and I dislike people immediately if I sense they have that character in them. one thing I know is that if a person badmouths a person to you he or she will likely badmouth you to another person. So, it’s vice-versa to them and that will always go on like that.

Even in college, some people badmouth me to my friends and badmouth them to me just to create hatred between us but just because we have all decided to always act mature and talk to one another if any of such happens has been what has been helping us so far and we have been good. 

Even most times those people that badmouth me act nice to me at my front and at my back they talk bad things behind my back and I have learned not to waste my time over people like that and one of the things I get to learn is how to deal with people that badmouth others which is to walk away from such conversations or give an excuse to free myself because I hate badmouthing.

So I urge everyone today to learn to stay away from saying bad things behind people's backs.
