 Continuing my study of volumes and fog, today I jumped into some fluid simulation and made some clouds. After a bit of digging into setting I took what I'd learned and made a picture. The good ol' cloud in a room. I added some lightning to spice it up a bit. To create the cloud I used a plugin for Cinema 4D called Turbulence 4D. I'm really only including that tidbit so this post will show up in searches in the future 😁 It's rendered in Octane as is all of my stuff and again, I think I'm finally wrapping my head around how all this works. I played around with the lighting for a while and ultimately decided on the above image as the thumbnail, but I liked this one as well.  I like the cloud in this one, but the room gets a bit lost which is why I picked the other one. I actually recorded most of the process with this as well, but it's not that interesting to watch I don't think.
