MY Native Afang Soup

Good day to this wounderful family,I welcome you all once again to my blog,Hope you all are enjoying this weekend.

Today my family was craving for our Favour rite Soup and I decided to make it for them regardless ,Their favourite soup Afang soup.
Join me as I prepared it for my family.

#INGREDIENTS USED #

Large  quantity of water leaf
Afang leaf(Ukazi leaf ) 
3 litter of Red oil
Fresh pepper
One tablespoon of salt 
.2 pieces of kpomo meat 
.Medium quantity of Beef meat
.periwinkle

PROCEDURE USED 

Step 1
I washed my Afang leaves and my waterleaf and and set aside.

Then I sliced my waterleaf and set aside.

Step2

Then I washed my kpomo meat and beef and set to perboiled it.
Then I washed and cut my periwinkle  and put into my pot ,add my salt and fresh pepper all together and set aside.

Step 3

Then I bring out my washed pot and put on the fire and pour my waterleaf on it ,in other for the waterleaf to dry in the pot.

Step4

After drying,I perboiled my kpomo,and My Beef and set aside

Step5

Then I put my pot back to the fire and allow the waterleaf to stem for a little time,then I poured my red oil on the pot and stir very well.

Step6

Then I add my perboiled ingredients and stir very well,after stiring  for a little time ,I added my afang .
Afang soup is a trademark soup of the Efik,when I say Efik people,am talking about Akwa Ibom or cross river states.
But today it has migrated all over Nigeria,
Afang soup is a good source of blood building to the body,it is a good source of unsaturated fatty acid,the Afang leaf contains fats,this unsaturated fats help maintain cholesterol level and fats helps in absorption of import nutrients in our body 
Afang soup contains minerals and vitamins which is good for the body,it is rich in Iodine
And also help in improving blood cells.

Then I stir for a little time,then my afang soup is ready to serve.
