I often struggle with my inner thoughts. Living in a country such as Greece, with all sorts of financial problems and a broken economy, _-lately things are getting better,-_ I hardly have time to enjoy simple pleasures anymore...

A simple walk with my dogs or a dinner in a nice restaurant with my girlfriend seems like a luxury nowadays...

I don't even have time for a simple visit to my parents where they live only a few blocks away. Sad I know...

Doomed(?) to work so many hours every single day in order to make my life a little better? Is this an illusion that drawn me or just the rough reality?

A wise man aka my grandpa who is no longer with us, used to say to me that **"_we all come and go alone is this world...what matters is how do we choose to spend the time that was given to us in between,_"** and the older I get, I realize that my old man was so right.

Today is a special day for my father. It is his name-day. So nothing else really mattered. We closed the coffee shop a couple of hours earlier than usual and headed straight to my father's house for a surprise visit. Yeah I know...he wasn't expecting that trust me...

He almost cried the moment we gave him his present...and I am almost crying too as I write those lines. Tears of joy actually...

Family should always come first...That's a reminder for you but also for me...

Have a great day everyone.
