It's been two weeks since I started playing Golem Overlord(GO). I signed up for the game by paying 20 Hive. I did not make any additional investments. I have transferred about 100 Hive back to my wallet, and my account has become quite strong because of upgrades. I spend less than an hour a day playing the game. Things are going well for now.

We claim PART tokens that we mine every eight hours. Meanwhile, we steal PART from others and protect PART tokens from others.

Even though the game has a simple mechanic, I struggled to figure out how to play it. To protect the Parts, I increased my Fortification level. Golem Overlord players have to improve their accounts. Otherwise, Part claim rates drop to zero. Therefore, I use many of the Parts I mined for upgrades. Thus, my Part claim rate always remains at 100%. Part tokens used for Upgade are burned. Therefore, the emission of Part is limited.

Recently, I realized the importance of the Faith variable and invested a lot in Faith. Faith increases the amount of Part we get when attacking others. Also, high Faith allows our attackers to gain a low amount of Part. Thus, we intimidate our competitors.

The game's economy has remained strong as many new players have joined. The hourly price chart of the game's token, PART, is below. The developer of the game dynamically takes measures to limit PART emission.

I expect that the price of PART will decrease a little more. On the other hand, Golem Overlord(GO) will be a permanent play-to-earn game. It may even increase in popularity over time. The mechanics of the game strongly encourage us to upgrade our accounts. Therefore, if GO reaches the scale of Alien Worlds one day, all early gamers will have made a significant income.

### **Am I Too Late To Start Playing The Game?**

Recently, the entrance fee of the game has increased to 30 Swap.Hive. It is possible to start playing by paying this fee. Of course, the part price may decrease and take longer to reach the break-even point. Or the price may begin to rise again. Currently, the game is played by 11k accounts. Ninety-six accounts joined the game today. GO is Hive's second most popular game. It's probably also in the top 10 of all play-to-earn games. I'm talking about an estimate because GO statistics have yet to be reported on Dappradar. 11k active players can make GO rank tenth in the Dappradar list.

Play-to-earn games are Ponzi schemes where the assets bought and sold are cooked over low heat. Those who enter when asset prices are low have an advantage. On the other hand, we cannot deny that these games entertain us. We can also consider our digital assets as investments.

### **TL;DR**

Hive has a significant share in the success of Golem Overlord. Near zero transaction costs and high security allow the game to be played in a frictionless environment. The fact that the developers are content with only the entrance fee is one factor that supports the game's economy. The game's second cryptocurrency, SHARD, will be used to purchase GO NFTs in the coming days. I guess the game's dynamically made improvements (rule changes, campaigns) will also continue. The part price will probably decrease. The possibility of a price drop is not an obstacle to new participation.
