I think I have been discovering some very spectacular songs by the beloved Jorge Drexler, both in terms of composition, lyrics and production. The sounds that Jorge integrates in some of his songs are similar to Cerati's work: many electronic sounds that give an ethereal atmosphere with special colors. I think this is something that not everyone knows how to do very well, as I have witnessed examples that are embarrassing to carry out these production sounds. 

The song I bring today is called "The age of heaven" and I found it by chance a couple of days ago, in a lyric video of the song. I found it extremely beautiful, sweet and with a promising theme. The lyrics talk about how small we can be, but how that smallness also symbolizes a great antiquity. Every atom, molecule, cell, every manifestation of matter, however minimal and cyclical it may be, has countless millennia of existence and processes behind it. 

Everything is part of everything, undoubtedly and inevitably we are drops of the ocean, sparks in the antiquity and the great emptiness, ephemeral beats forming part of the eternal silence with the age of the sky. Perhaps Drexler refers to the sky as a form of the great cosmos, the space and its infinite and inconceivable foundations. 

A phrase that I loved in this song was the one that says: "Just a gram of salt in the sea of the sky". Imagine, just a gram of salt that is part of a huge ocean, it is incredible the vastness of existence, so much so, that there will be countless seas with countless grams of salt. Infinity is something marvelous, frightening, beautiful, luminous, dark, comprehensible and incomprehensible. We are just a particle in the infinity of existence, being so small we mean something, so every instant is precious.

> Creo que he estado descubriendo canciones sumamente espectaculares del querido Jorge Drexler, tanto a nivel de composición como a nivel de letra y producción. Los sonidos que integra Jorge en algunas de sus canciones son parecidos al trabajo que hacía Cerati: muchos sonidos electrónicos que otorgan un ambiente etéreo y con colores especiales. Creo que esto es algo que no todos saben hace muy bien, ya que he llegado a presenciar ejemplares que resultan bochornosos al llevar a cabo estos sonidos de producción. 

> La canción que hoy traigo se llama "La edad del cielo" y la encontré muy por casualidad hace un par de días, en un lyric video de la canción. Me resultó sumamente hermosa, dulce y con una tema prometedor. La letra nos habla de lo pequeños que podemos ser, pero como esa pequeñez también simboliza una gran antigüedad. Cada átomo, molecula, celula, cada manifestación de la materia por más mínima y cíclica que sea, tiene de respaldo incontables milenios de existencia y procesos. 

> Todo forma parte de todo, indudablemente e inevitablemente somos gotas del oceanos, chispazos en la antigüedad y el gran vacío, latidos efímeros formando parte del eterno silencio con la edad del cielo. Tal vez Drexler se refiere al cielo como una forma del gran cosmos, el espacio y sus infinitos e inconcebibles fundamentos. 

> Una frase que me encantó de esta canción fue la que dice: "Solo un gramo de sal en el mar del cielo". Imagínate, solo un gramo de sal que forma parte de un océano enorme, es increíble la vastedad de la existencia, tanto así, que habrá incontables mares con incontables gramos de sal. El infinito es algo maravilloso, temible, hermosos, luminoso, oscuro, comprensible e incomprensible. Somos tan solo una partícula en la infinitud de la existencia, siendo tan pequeños significamos algo, así que cada instante es precioso.
