Hello everyone,
It’s been a while I took part in the hive learners contest due to my schedule. I’ve actually been thinking about all the prompts I’ve missed. 
I always look forward to taking part in them but I guess 24 hours a day isn’t enough for me.

Since it’s the weekend, I decided to not miss this too. 
Whew! 
I quite remember when I first got to know about hive learners. It was introduced to me by a friend. Being the person that I am, I asked about a billion questions because how come I haven’t heard of such a community before.

I had been on hive for about 4 months then and I was still getting to know my way around. I can say I have learnt a few things now. 

So, that was how I was introduced to the hive learners community . The main reason why I was introduced to the hive learners community was because I was having a hard time coming up with what to write. 

I was guided on how to apply and I did. I was new on discord then so I didn’t really know how to use the app and that’s how I missed my video call which will determine my membership in the community.

I was told to apply a month later which was going to be around 17th December. Then, I had already met @quduus1 who was always asking why I am not a member yet. I explained the situation to him and he kept on reminding me to reapply till it was time to do so.

I was finally able to apply once again and I was accepted. That’s how my journey in the hive learners community begun. 

Funny thing is, I didn’t know how to make a post in the community then so I was always disturbing @depressedfuckup and @yahuzah to help with this or that. Now, I can write in any community without a problem. Thanks to them!❤️

I took part in my first contest and I loved the engagement. I received lots of comments on my post and I was able to interact with many people. 

I also made it a point to read others post and get to know what they also think about the topic at hand. Some I agreed with, others I didn’t. But that’s the main reason why we are all sharing our views. 


One thing I’ve learnt from hive learners featured contests is that everyone’s opinion matters. Whether you agree to it or not, they still get to share their view. Sorry for you if you don’t agree but are still attracted to their write up.😅

Through the hive learners community , I was able to meet a whole lot of people who I have come to love and I always look forward to reading their post.

Aside reading posts and engaging with others in the community which I enjoy doing, I have also made new friends from the community. Majority of them being our Nigerian brother and sisters (@mercysugar @quduus1 @justfavour @merit.ahama @sholex @moremoney28 @nkemmakonam89 @abdul-qudus and many others) who do not want to accept that Ghana jollof is better than Nigeria jollof. 
Maybe who should add it to our weekly prompts. lol 

I have been able to interact with these wonderful individuals and I must say, they’re the best. Maybe hive learners community only accepts the best of the best.😅

Aside making new friends, the hive learners featured contents has also thought me to see things from other’s perspective and also take time in making some decisions.

For some contests, it took me days to actually come to a decision because I needed to pick a side and share my views on it. 
I actually like that I have to take up such a challenge because I need to take time to decide on what to say. 
Being someone who doesn’t have enough patience when it comes to some of these stuff, hive learners featured contest have taught me to be more patient and take my time. 

Talking about my engagement on the blockchain, hive learners featured contest has aided me in engaging more and writing more. 

The weekly contest have also helped me to come up with my own topics to write on because these topics are proposed by fellow members and moderators.

Also, through the hive learners featured contests, I have been able to improve on my writing skills more than I could have imagined. I have learned to write my posts in an attractive manner which will attract readers.

The list goes on and on and on. I do not regret being a part of this community and I hope and look forward to meeting new people and also sharing more of my views in the community. 

My journey in the community has so far been a fruitful one and I pray everyone is given such a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of the community.
