15 Mana.

<h3>Starting line-up</h3>

With only four monsters each and 15 mana this is going to be a quick battle of limited choices. There are only so many low mana cards in the deck and very few with a large attack or defense points.


The fiend cards at 0 mana are well worth including in your deck as cannon fodder and can be the difference between a win and a loss depending on the match. If you have those and a furious chicken it helps a lot.


With such small mana venari scout at 3 and Djinn Bilka at 3 pack a lot of power for their size and the hope was to take out their tank with magic and pick off their small mana attackers with my scout who is fast and a three attack.


Unfortunately they put a conjurer as their tank which prevents this but never put an amplify monster with it which is a waste.

<h3>First kill..</h3>

What they did which is smart and i haven't seen before is put a weapons training monster with the conjurer which gave it three magic attack and for a two mana monster a lot of power. It's one of my favorites in the deck anyway for the tank position but with 5 speed and a magic attack becomes a lot more powerful.


I'll have to remember this one. 


The first kill which was to be expected was my fiend in the tank position but it's only purpose was to soak up an attack which it did to perfection.


This brings my real tank into play for the rest of the game with Ariantius. A classic tank from the early reward edition and a stable of any wild deck.

<h3>Round two.</h3>
<br>


Normally i do a check in at round three for these posts but with such a small team and such weak monsters round one took a fair toll on both sides. That sturgis card gave weapons training to the monster at it's other side as well which i hadn't realized at the start but it shot straight at my tank and died after it's first attack. The harpy another favorite of mine ten attacked my tank and died off the thorns. 


It's a very hard card to get past especially with proper defensive structures of heal and shield repair in bigger battles. It took out Sturgis as well with reflect so that was all three of my opponents attackers just with the defense from Lord Arianthius.


I haven't even made an attack yet and the game is won.

It was a tight enough match overall. I got through with my tank still in place and Venari untouched but in these low mana games it can all be about the first real kill.  After that it's hard to recover when your outnumbered.


A strong tank from me with a monster that has opportunity to take out their attackers especially with no shields for the match.
